Not gonna lie, I have no clue who will win this conference. This season may have one of the best competitions for the title in a really long time. Vermont isn't gonna cake walk to anything this year.

I stated earlier...Jimbo Fisher did a interview with Pardon My Take and said the same thing. This is why I think some changes are coming. This is unsustainable. However, I also think this will police itself. Guys are going to run to join the portal and then you see guys like Reese who was a starter and goes to Miami and may be 3rd QB. Sooner or later players, hopefully, will rethink quick movements or movements in general. What is really interesting is I don't see the need for all this crazy movement, especially from FCS players. This isn't 15-20 years ago when there was zero media attention nationally. I truly believe FCS players can be very very solid NFL/NFL Draft products staying in FCS. Yes you got insane freaks of talent like Verse. I just don't get why guys from the CAA would run to conferences like the MAC, Conference USA or Sun Belt when they would get equal if not more media attention staying in the FCS.

I gotta think WR and DL has to be a major focus at this point. On paper I absolutely love what I am seeing coming in from the portal.

I told my 5 year old Albany was playing at Stony Brook again this year and he was ecstatic...that's all I care about. lol "we are gonna kick their butt!"...his words, not mine.

So it seems the bread and butter of UA, and tell me if I am wrong, is Western PA/Ohio/Indiana area and northern areas of the Capital Region.

as a former broadcaster for the school with WCDB, I will never bash anyone Wyland. You may dislike his stuff, but listening to just a small taste of what others have, he is def. tops to what others have in CAA.

Jimbo Fisher made an interesting thought on Pardon My Take the other day. He said he agrees with letting kids do what they gotta and gets the free agency aspect of things. He states the issue is imagine professional teams having every single team as Free Agents every year. That’s what college, especially football, sports is right now. Said that is hard to sustain.

I’m gonna say 8-4 on early prediction.

I would also say that we gotta expect change soon w/ transfers and transfer portals. When big name coaches are saying something needs to change, the NCAA can only look away for so long. Something tells me a 1x free transfer is coming, with everything after that being some time sitting.
