  1. Yeah that Evans move and step back J was sweet. I opened my eyes wide as well after that one. Kid is lightning quick too. Puk was great. Hope he continues to play that well. I love Iati, he had 3 or 4 3's...he's our teams Ray Allen.
  2. Not the same Xavier...that Xavier is Xavier Henry! You see, multi-tasking is a p.i.t.a. lol. Yeah I edited my last post haha.
  3. From the article above...Xavier Humphrey committed to Memphis but might follow Calipari to Kentucky. I believe that's the name I saw in the ESPN vid at work. So that just shows you what kind of team/what kind of players the team Black was on is producing. EDIT: Never mind..that was Xavier Henry lol.
  4. Very young class...but some good athletes. I agree...4 years together would benefit all of them as well as the school. They could achieve something special AE/NCAA wise if they stick together and work at it. But keep in mind our team next year will be VERY young...so we might have some growing pains. Also known as very bad games. lol.
  5. Will America East refs call that a carry? This is a guard league, so no carry called on that UA72. Now, the header pic of Metcalf above would most certainly be an "Over the Back" call in the AE. Nice pickup for UA. I think after this year we all want a tru PG with a solid Basketball IQ and ability to distribute the ball. It looks like from the little info available that that is what we will be getting. Welcome to UA Mike. Not to mention someone who won't pansy out around the basket once he gets by the defense like Raffa. I said it before, and I'll say it again. I HATED that part of Raffa's game. "OH! Look at me! I just blew past my guy! I'm now going for a layup! Oh crap! Bogey in bound! ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!" *turnover*
  6. I highly doubt they will be playing those teams at the SEFCU lol. UNC hasn't been to an Arena this small in probably 50 years. Those are probably roadies like the Kansas game this past year. This guy seems like a good pickup. The one thing about Raffa that I hated was his propensity to turn the ball over around the basket. He'd go for a layup and wimp out on contact and end up losing the ball. That ticked me off. From what you all have posted, looks like this kid is as good around the basket as he is outside. Also, he can pass. I think we got something good here. Judging from the info on him, doesn't he sound a little like Jamar? I hope so. I thought it was pretty clear that he was being facetious! Guess not. I'm a young chap on this forum. Haven't learned the ropes of who's who regarding personalities, etc.
