This was an issue in both games. If you look at pictures of both. You can clearly see the yellow seats. It has to be the price...or because they were only sold to people who gave a lot of money and are probably alumni that aren't from the area.

Wait. This kid looked BEAST on video but he's been so quiet I didn't even know he was playing? Either College ball is WAY different than HS, or our coaches suck at putting players in position to succeed. On video, he looked like someone who would step right in and play a major role. Are they just playing him a small % of the time because he's a freshmen?

By all accounts at the home opener, these guys look to be bigger/better athletes than the guys on the field. Especially this Marcel Ngachie kid (based on video I've seen - not sure if he is a red shirt or if he is even on campus yet - I've only gotten really into the FB program this season as my number 1 UA sport is BB).

Our next three weeks. We are going to get the SNOT beat out of us...just dig a hole, hunker down in that bunker, and wait it out. Hopefully we come out still standing on both feet...well, maybe that's too optimistic. Maybe crawling on our stomachs.

Eh, looks like he's a man playing amongst boys in some of those clips. I don't give much hope to these HS highlight videos until I see them in uniform against NCAA competition.

I wish they'd give a ball to people who signed up for FB tickets prior to June 1st as well...especially if you were a supporter of the BBall team.

So much for sending Bob Ford off into the sunset with a respectable bang. I watched the game on TW3 (couldn't make it to the field tonight) and he was ANGRY at half-time.

Like the Jets (with Holmes, Ferguson and Mangold), we only have 4 good players on offense (that play every down): Kadeem Williams, Kevin Chillis, Omar Osbourne, and maybe Cole King. That's it. You can't win games with that much, or rather, lack of, talent. Meeks is a nice change of pace, but he's not every down and doesn't do anything but run. I've seen this show before.

1) Will Fiacchi BLOWS 2) McCarthy BLOWS 3) Our Kicker BLOWS 4) and lastly, our offense BLOWS. I feel bad for the defense. If I was a defensive player, I'd be FURIOUS at the inability of the offense and it's players. As a Jets fan, I feel like I'm watching the Jets from a year or two ago when Sanchez had no offensive line, no skill players, and we were constantly 3 and out. This is ridiculous. We were the crème de la crème of the NEC and yet we can't beat one of the worst teams in the NEC? COME ON.

That's REALLY SAD for the Indians. Wow. And they build stadium with 6x the capacity of our little stadium.

I think they have as much talent as us...however, they might have better ATHLETES than us since they are already recruiting CAA level kids. We are just starting. They had more power up front than us, etc.

He is a class act and he did it the right way.

That jump throw...I've never seen anything like it. I've seen the shove pass or whatever, but not a jump throw.

I'm sure some of it was nerves...pressure from a historic crowd. Our present talent level doesn't give us much leeway...pile on the expectations and pressure and well...that's how it goes. We could have lost by 50 and I would still have been in complete awe...still can't believe that's our stadium. Like, no one is going to wheel it away or take it away...lol Hopefully no one pulls a Despicable Me and steals it like they stole the moon.

That hit was definitely a foul. I thought the same as you watching the actual play and the first review angle (from the vantage point of the home stands). But when they showed the end zone angle, it was absolutely without a doubt helmet to helmet. Hit him right in the ear hole (lol). The fumbled punt was the biggest mistake of all as that is the ONLY mistake that DIRECTLY result in RI points. Without that, we would have won the game in regulation, 13-6. Band only played one song...if you want to call it a song. It was very quiet and was a HORRIBLE choice for a song (Skyfall by Adele - the James Bond theme). And I agree on the tribute...I don't know if I'll get laughed at for this...but I actually got a little moist around the eyes watching that. That man put his heart and soul into this university and it's football program. I was very proud to be a UAlbany student and future Alum on saturday.

I'd love a legit Nike jersey of the better players and not a generic number which might not even be a number of the kid on the field (thanks for the Fordie thing, I didn't realize that lol). There is definitely options and they could make a decent amount of money selling actual team gear instead of some knock off looking cheap shirts and such. It would be another nice revenue stream. Personally, I'd like to find a Drew Smith #10 jersey or a #23 Osbourne jersey. I also wouldn't mind finding a UAlbany Mini-Helmet, putting it in a case, and keeping it at the office. As it was explained to me during the game (this was my first live football game ever although I've been following the NFL and some college since the late 90's - so I don't know/notice some things on TV)...the reason why they stand up (always around the 15 second mark of the play clock) to look for a new call is because the OC is changing the play on the defense. He wants to see what defense is on the field before he makes the actual play call. The one they start with out of the huddle isn't always the right one I guess. Doesn't have to do with the wildcat as they did it on normal formations too. It makes sense, wait the clock down and then audible causing the defense (hopefully) to get confused and let up a big play. They did do it quite a bit though which got a little annoying, I'll give you that. Yeah, he didn't sound eloquent to me lol.
