Any updates on video or audio for tonight's game?
-
Last time they played it was at TUC, but technically it was a nuetral court as far as tickets go. They year before was at SEFCU.
The women don't play their home games at TUC, so it was nuetral outside of the logo on the court.
No reason to complain about this game being at the LCC campus.

Siena announced that they are playing UA this season at the Arc.
(Women, not men)
Coach Carm said that UA MBB is not on the schedule.

The downside to having Vermont as the Growl Game is that the Vermont game would draw well anyway. Seems better to have a different team as the BPG game and get the attendance bump for two different games. That said, that game should be electric.
I know it will be a year old but on 2/29 we should that Ethan Stark field goal like 100 times on big screen.
So we play UVM for BPG at home and for their senior night on the road. Interesting.

Final two games of the season:
- Sat. 2/29 - SBU at UA
- Tues 3/3 - UA at UVM
Somehow I have a feeling that both of those games will be meaningful this season. I wish it UVM at UA on 3/3 instead of on 2/1, but having UVM at UA on a Sat should be good for attendance.
Also, all games are on Weds or Sat except the final game and the one Sunday in Maine. Makes for easier scheduling. I know not to bowl on Wednesday or Sat. this year lol.

You mean to tell me we had an "NFL QB" even if fringe NFL and we still sucked donkey ass at the QB position. That's amazing...
Speaks to coaching.

Team could be 12 deep, which he has never done.

On a different note, it looks like Clark has put in a lot of time in the weight room based on the image above.

Thats interesting, but doesn't make it any easier to make guestimates of who plays where and how much.
Anyway, this is fun to discuss because most of us are pretty ignorant about what is actually happening in practice. Hopefully the team will do the Canadian tour and we can see what some of the new guys look like before October/November.

PT Battle is going to be really fierce this year after looking at the roster, anticipated ability/improvement. The hard part is Brown really likes to play his core 2-3 players over 30 minutes each which throws all guesstimates out the window. I am thinking that he will use various lineups and the person that players 35 minutes in a game will end up being different all the time.
I feel like I say this every year, but I would love to see the team sub a little more liberally and play the game a little more up-tempo, but that isn't the grind that WB is famous for.

Send off for Ty Conyers. Great move for him.
He tweeted an image of the team for this season...

Probably time to start a WBB 19-20 thread

I exaggerated for effect. My comment on the other site was POY candidate in his Junior and senior year, but we need something to talk about beyond the sad state of the football program

He's going to have a great year but AE POY...come on man. We're all ready for the season but the recent summer heat is gettin to ya, fam.
I think this team has a solid chance at being a 20 win team.
Lamb probably has a 90% chance at winning this year obviously, but I'm sold on Malachi on both sides of the floor. Kid played almost no minutes last year, and was 10th in blocks per game (11th in total).
I don't think it's too far fetched to think he could be a 1st teamer and a candidate for the award.

I was made fun of on the AE board when I posted that I thought deSousa would be the best player on UA this season, and would be a sleeper pick for AE POY this season. He was the freshman I said I would pick first to build a team around over Healy and Sessoms. Well, maybe I had a little overly purple and gold glasses on when I posted that, but this I figure this would be as good a time as any to start a thread on everyone's expectations and predictions for this upcoming season, along with sharing pre-season press and articles about the team.
Is it November yet?

Why do I have the feeling that the team is going to win the game against Central Michigan, then win against Bryant and Monmouth - starting out 3-0, and there will be some excitement and buzz around the team. UA will then lose a close game against Lafayette (lose late in the 4th quarter after a fumble or interception or something) then go on to lose the next 8 as well, finishing the year 3-9. The school will focus on the hot start and the FBS win, and use the line "we are improving, and next year will be the year!"
It will be more of the same, and GG will get another early extension...

They are both already listed above by name, but I know many on this board like to follow their tweets...

Looks like there might be a preseason exhibition trip to Canada...

Looks like you need to remove Jerotic from your list.

The weekend before Thanksgiving looks like it will be a good time to spend a weekend in Wallingford. 3 Games in a row. I hate to admit it, but I've never seen the Danes on the road, that would be a great time to start. I've heard United Center is a great arena to visit.

barttovick has UA playing Sacred Heart on 11/23 amd Presbyterian on 11/24 at a nuetral site. I assume this is part of the same tournament that has us hosting Potsdam?
