    That was the best defensive half I have seen in years, maybe ever, from this team. It was outstanding. Offensively we have ONE player that can create his own shot. I think we have two scholarships left. Both players need to be able to create their own shot.

    Any win is good . Lucky or not. I'm getting very concerned with Healy. He is starting to remind me a lot like Cremo. Healy with get his points but will disappear when the game counts.

    To my knowledge no . I Believe Doherty has player past the redshirt requirement.

    We offered Shane O'Dell a while ago and although he is not playing against the best competition, he is still playing very well. Averaging 26 ppg, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks a game. He does not have a ton of offers and at 6'6 does not fill am immediate need. However he would appear to be a good get and yet he remains uncommitted. I'm guessing he wants to play elsewhere, however I think he would be the kind of player will brown likes.

    Maine is really really bad, but not atrocious. Any team that ranks in the 300's this far into the season is terrible. They may win a few games but let's not give them too much credit. Lulka still does not look right. When and If he does I would like to see him play the 5. With him playing the 5 we should be able to spread the floor and open up some driving lanes.

    That's why they play the game. I agree that I feel our best basketball is ahead of us but I have watched every second of our team this year and I will tell u it's not even close to these 2 teams . Truly not even close . Does not mean we can't get better or get lucky. My point was they beat us 90 percent of the time, right now.

    Right now both Brook and Vermont beat us 9 times out of 10. They are both more athletic and just better basketball teams. We would need to play a complete, mistake free game to beat them. Something we have not done all year.

    The is absolutely no reason to play Luderdale and Lulka at the same time . No reason at all.

    I'm learning to wait until the end of the game to post. We won . That's the good news. We are a below average team at best. That's the bad news. I still say when Lulka comes back to play small. We dont rebound well anyway. I think playing small will force some mismatches on the offensive end. We are inept at scoring the ball.

    Yes. He has played very well on both sides of the ball.

    Hartford just beat Northwestern. I think the over/under record in conference play is 6-10. To be honest I think 6-10 is about right. I would love to see us do well of course but but if your using your head and not your heart you would need to think 6-10 is about right.

    I dont think anyone wants to be negative. The problem I have (so far) is we have not gotten any better since last year. We brought almost everyone back. But the biggest problem is we do NOTHING well. We dont score , play average defense, dont rebound, dont creat turnovers to get transition points, free throws, Nothing ! . That's the issue. People wanna play French, great, he earned it from the last game. I'm just looking for something they do well. Move Lulka to the 5 for America East Play. Try something new. Like most of us I go to almost every home game and support the team financially. My biggest issue and frustration is the absolute lack of improvement.

    I'm not sure what that means. I guess what I'm saying is that I will trust the coaching staff . If he plays and plays well ( makes a positive impact) then I will admit I was wrong. If he sits the bench or plays poorly I'm going to say he is not worth his spot. (Not a D1 player) Again I hope I'm wrong and will come back to this post in around 10 games. I hope they win every game and French is a huge part . But I pride myself as truly knowing basketball , and I just dont see it in French. I thought it was a little surprising that Kendall was in the game down the stretch and not French. I do think that's a little telling.

    Let's revisit this again after the next 8 games. If ur right I was most certainly say I was wrong.

    We will visit this at the half way point of the conference schedule. I will remember and if I'm wrong I will 100 percent come back on this thread and say so. We will see.

    Because I watch the games . Please go back and watch him . Early on he was fumbling passes ... missing easy hoops and terrible on defense (of course limited chances ). But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back and watch the games he was in . TERRIBLE . and I mean ABSOLUTLEY ATROCIOUSLY TERRIBLE. He played fine today. But he is not a division 1 player . I hope I am wrong. But right now, half way through his jr season, I am not.

    I'll answer that question for u . NO. There is nothing there. Instead when/if Lulka gets healthy , rotate Lukla, Hansen, and Malachi at the 5 and 4 spot. Play the other two bigs 5 minutes a game combine. Go small. Try something new.

    French capitalized on good passes for easy layups/dunks and missed free throws. He is not a Division 1 player. He is big and that's it.

    I completely disagree Hansen runs laps around French today. Easily our best player. Clark playing well too.

    Well a terrible 5 minutes. Back to ualbany again. It just appears this is our team . We will play well in spots. Play terrible in spots . Overall a very average team.

    Good start but we have seen good starts . We have seen good halves . We need to continue to execute for an entire game .
