We are bad. That's a fact. But we are playing some young guys a ton of minutes. We bring in a SF and a PF next year. Students leaves every year. We need to land a couple of impact players next year. Players that can create off the dribble. Also let's not forget there are 14 league games left. Brown needs to figure out what we do well and continue to improve that. Need to get these guys as much experience as possible.

I could write a 10 page thesis right now, but who would read it ... haha .. here are a couple of observations I see right now : Clark: has made some bad decisions but not all his decisions are bad. He is the only one that can best anyone of the dribble and is forced to make several drives every game because of it . Rizzuto: has done nothing, and I mean zero, over the last two games. Wasn't he suppose to get better when he gets into shape ? Flory: looks like a bad Dallas right now. Does not look like a D1 player . Sousa: Raw!!!!! Healy: will be good but cant beat anyone of the dribble. Campbell: is Campbell, enough said We dont get ball down low and look terrible on the offensive end. Not sure what we are doing but we need some athletes next year.

I will only say this. THEY ARE TERRIBLE ,right now. Not atheltic at all.

To be honest with you, I can donate much more than I do . Once I see a commitment to ualbany sports (because right now its amateur hour) , I will donate substantially more. I'm sure I'm not alone with that sentiment. I will not renew my football season tickets, so my donations with decrease again. FYI I'm ranked in the lower 400's.

I agree. Clark does make some bad decisions but several of his bad decisions are because nobody else can do anything with the ball in their hands. I like to use this line a lot because its sooo true : Will Brown has forgotten more about basketball than I know. However does anyone remember what we did with sam rowely?? Brown made him have a touch down low every single possession!!!!! I think we should do the exact same thing with Lulka. Start the ball down low. Good things happen when that happens.

I'm glad u guys are coming around. I have nothing against the man personally but he has no business playing 25+ minutes on a rebuilding team .

We need more players that can beat you off the dribble. We have one of them. Need more.

Like i said. Not the game I wanted to start the conference season. Vermont is sooo much better. Would have rather gained some confidence on other teams . One of two things will happen. Either they put it behind them quickly or regress tremendously. Up to them .

My guess is that Lulka plays tonight . Brown seems to do this a lot, where he says a guy MAY not play and he ends up playing 30 mins . If he does I dont know how effective he will be. I really hope we dont get blown out tonight. Need to keep this young team growing. Need to Make it difficult on Lamb. Hoping for a good game tonight.

It's always fun to speculate, but the post is posted in the albany general Instagram account and not on the atheltics one. I would think that if it was athletics they would post both places. Secondly, to my knowledge (unless there was a massive gift) fundraising for any atheltics project has not started yet. I would think that if it was a major upgrade to the atheltic department fundraising would need to occur. This is probably not it, but maybe it's the announcement to the naming rights of the Sefcu. That has been expired for a couple of years and maybe that money will be used, combined with state funding, to build something. It seems to me like something for the university and not the atheltic program . I hope I'm wrong .

Outstanding win . Great way to battle back. Campbell played well, especially in the first half. Need to continue to improve . Dont love the fact we get Vermont right off the bat. Hoping to keep it close to continue to gain momentum. The team has really improved over the last two games . Kudos to Eli and company who kept the faith because I did not see much improvement over the first 10 games.

Need to continue to build off this game. Defensively the switches were much much better. Offensively the ball movement was better. The spacing was better. The flow was better. Turnovers are high but we are getting better offensively so I do believe they will go down. I wanted a win but this was a very nice game against a very good team. One thing that we desperately need is another slasher. Hopefully we can pick up one late because Clark is the only one that can beat anyone off the dribble consistently.

For the people who said we are improving YOU WERE RIGHT this game. Offense looked so much better late in the second half. Encouraging game. Now as for Campbell: I wish everyone well (exception criminals, and overall bad people) but come on. The man has played around 80 games or more in his career. How many of us got on Nichols for his bad decisions or Cremo for not being clutch?? Campbell is the senior leader of this team. A Captain!!!! He needs to play better and give us something offensively. I'm sorry if some of you can handle that , but its the truth. Nothing personal, I'm sure he is a great young man, but he is struggling bigtime and costing us.

I do wish him well. But this is not 8th grade basketball. Not everyone gets to play. He Is not getting the job done. Goes out and we come back 7 points to end the half. I call a spade a spade.

I started this post because I truly dont see any improvement. And that's very scary. The person who says they dont expect improve throughout the year is ludicrous. Young teams are suppose to improve throughout the year . Case and point : You do something the first time. ( Anything ) ex) play in your first college basketball game. Now let's say you do that thing 10 times , or 20 times , or 30 times. You would expect to get better at it . Even if you never did it before. There is still time and we do have some talent . I know we are young and there will be peaks and valleys. Only time will tell.

I'll say it. WE ARE TERRIBLE. Right now. Absolutely terrible . We knew we were going to be bad. But not this bad. We are an unatheltic team. Let's not sugar coat this anymore. And before anyone says anything, it does not matter that its Providence. We are terrible .
