Marketing at Albany is an absolute joke. I have at least 6 ideas to increase attendance and I'm a nobody . It's as if they dont even try. There has to be a reason for that. I assume they did a cost analysis and came up with the fact that if they spent more money it would not make a difference. Or maybe I'm giving them too much credit. Either way it's very very said to see 1500 people at a Division 1 basketball game.

Team continues to play well at times . But there are several times they look lost. Need to remind myself this is a young team. It will be very interesting to see what Brown does in a couple of weeks. I think redshirting 3 again may be a mistake. However after missing a 3rd of the season or more, it might make sense to redshirt.

I understand they are D3 however they are 3-0 and killing people . We should def win this game easily. We have a game tomorrow so let's hope we pound the ball in early and rest the starters.

I will always root for Albany in all sports and hope they win every game. However the state of the football team is abysmal. I hate all these "we lost all these games by 7 points or less OR we could have been 7-4" THAT IS COMPETELY AND UTTERLY BS. A famous coach said "you are what your record says you are". That's the truth and a fact ! Nothing more or less. I am 100 percent cancelling my season tickets and if I feel like it cherry pick a couple of games. I truly dont believe I'm being a fair weather fan. Think about what the atheltic department has done over the years. (Ex , seat cushion..ect) and the terrible management of the program . They dont deserve my money. I would never tell anyone else what to do with their money but if you agree I suggest you cancel your tickets with me.

Very nice win buy let's give credit when is due. Campbell played extremely well. Played good defense and hit the open shot. He will be given it all year, and as a senior he needs to knock them down. Clark was awesome as well. Good team win. Just keep getting better.

Good point . Hopefully we will not need to play anyone over 20 mins in the Oneonta game. I truly think we will be ok. We have a couple of pieces missing that will be back soon. Also here is the biggest point: Our freshman are playing huge meaningful minutes where they are expected to produce. Most freshman come in to be the 4th or 5th option (ex Cremo ) . Ours are not and I believe they are holding their own right now. Hopefully they get better and better and late in the season we will be a dangerous team .

Also let me ask everyone this. When he is out of the game does the defense look remarkably worse? Because with a very good defensive player the answer should be 100 percent yes. I can tell you with 100 percent certainty the answer is no.

True , also the 2 that are hurt should be a couple of the better young players on the team . Thats something to be very happy about.

The defense as a whole is terrible. Rotation is the biggest issue. Campbell is the best of the group, however it truly does not make up for it on the offensive end. Not even close. If he was a very good or elite defender he would make the defense better as a whole. He does not!!!!!

When u watch albany's offense and wonder why it does not look smooth and they look cramped, it's because they are not guarding Campbell. Sooo frustrating to watch.

I fully understand these are nice college kids and student athletes. That being said ladies and gentlemen CAMPBELL is the reason our offense looks so bad. And in my opinion he does not make up for it on defense. Let me explain... The defensive player guarding Campbell plays about 10 to 15 feet off him making it nearly impossible to drive to the hoop or get the ball down low. When he Is out of the game and we made our little run they are forced to guard all 5 positions. Again not trying to be mean and I know Brown has forgotten more about basketball then a know. Brown is a loyal guy and wont admit it but unfortunately I'm right about this. Campbell should get 10 to 15 minutes a game no more.

This mini run is without Campbell on the floor. Remember that. I'll talk more about that at the end on the game but our defense is terrible and it's not like he is helping a ton. Offensively its bc of him there are no driving lanes.

Defense is again atrocious. Wide open 3 after wide open 3. They are absolutely lost on D. Brown had to call 3 timeouts all because of the defense. Offense is not much better. But Wow on the D.

I too will not renew my football season tickets. I definately want to support our student athletes however I'm not wasting my hard earned money on an absolutely disaster of a program. When Benson makes it right , (whatever that is) , I will be back.

I think the Defensive looks confused him . Really seemed a bit lost. However probably the best we have down there. I truly think he will improve greatly.

For the record I did not think Campbell played poorly. Mark my words this team will go as far as Campbell with take them. Clark and Healy will get theirs. The most important player on this team is Campbell. Also get ready to play 7-8 players again . This team is not deep. The bench looked confused and poor.
