  1. I haven't read the article, so assuming its correct, it happened AGAIN? Does this kind of nonsense happen elsewhere? Leaking a candidates complete list to the newspaper?
  2. Thanks for the update phoenix. He certainly looks as an option in my opinion. What's the lowdown on David Wilson? Other than that, nothing jumps out at me. DOn't have much time to do any research today, I'm buried
  3. I'd imagine that if both Albany and SBU are being considered for football, then if other schools pass on all sports invys, then both albany and sbu would be next in line. The other schools were offered quite a long time ago... any word on an acceptance by anyone for all sports as of yet? 73, are you a football alum?
  4. Thanks 73. Anybody have any opinions on Albany and an all sports invitation? For or against?
  5. Welcome to the board, Tribal. IMO, its with great pleasure to accept an offer from the CAA football conference. Where did you hear the rumors?
  6. IMO, it makes perfect sense for the CAA to extend invites to us and SBU. And with Yeager @ the sbu campus recently, everything would make sense. I would have more doubt in whether our university would want/approve us going to the CAA... and the impact of addl schollies for women. Who at our university would be granting approval to move to the CAA?
  7. I think they've been instructed to stay quiet until the CAA announces. The last thing we want to do is run our mouths about this too early. How obnoxious would that be as new comers.
  8. If someone was at the golf tournament and heard Ford say that, then that's confirmation in itself. Of course that is if he said we were offered and have already accepted. Anyone here actually attend and what was his statement exactly?
  9. Looks like our UA wishes are finally coming true. I'm getting darn excited! Stadium, CAA football.... Anyone know if those other schools were accepted as ALL SPORT members?
  10. Well, at the very least, there is a big mound of dirt that the Giants can't miss seeing while training. Maybe that will prompt their organization into making a large donation to the project, seeing that its becoming a reality... slowly.
  11. Update: Wagner plays Florida Atlantic U from the sunbelt... this year
  12. I don't remember details, but I'm pretty sure one of the NEC teams has an FBS game scheduled... and I assume they are receiving money for the game... and of course, as an NEC team, they have 38 schollies only... so, maybe we can schedule an fbs team right away.
  13. He had to of heard something, and wasn't supposed to discuss it probably. If so, 96 is right, a total bozo.
  14. CAA football media day on wednesday http://caasports.com/mediaPortal/player.dbml?id=886279
  15. Now, assuming this all goes official, will we be elibible for the NCAA tournament this year in the NEC? It's fairly late, and we are on the one year contract thingy.
  16. Yep, they are different things, but seems like our programs suffer from both. Nice to hear from the HAGster. Let's get some kids here that will help get the wins AND stay with the program throughout their education.
  17. From my understanding, we're on a year to year deal. So, the answer would be none.
  18. At first, I thought he was the dude with the wild hair... what's he wearing, #7 ?
  19. Thanks Pound for the reminder. Forgot the game was on tonight!
  20. He was very talented, but reminded me of exceptional streetball talent... not nba talent. If he worked on tweeking his game, learned from his college coaches, gained more experience at the higher levels, he would have had a much better shot at the nba draft next year. Foolish move on his part. Afterall, he's not a Kentucky recruit, a one and done player. Could he return to UA if both he and Brown wanted now?
