  1. did they get rid of that game after last year? Can UA qualify for any type of "bowl game" if they win the conference?
  2. its interesting how he combines both I-A and I-AA. Based on those numbers, he thinks UA will win this conference in a cake walk. I seriously think we can beat Hofstra and can make it close against Fordham.
  3. when are we gonna here about the future stadium and the results of the study and "master plan". Wasnt word suppose to be out sometime this month? Anyone got anything lets here it.
  4. The University just switched over from Direct TV to Time Warner. I was wondering, cause i remember from last year, that Time Warner did a few football games and basketall games. Anyone know if they plan on doing that again?
  5. i like that this information getting out right now...help Bobby get even bigger named recruits to prep for the move to full scholly. If you cant get a scholly now, you still get a chance to play the Division-IAA National Champs and even bigger named Division I-AA schools.
  6. i know he is signed with the Padres. Is he playing yet or no?
  7. Fordham...like UAalum said, plus, UA GOES UNDER THE LIGHTS BABY...THIS GAME BEGINS A NEW ERA OF UA FOOTBALL...WE WILL WIN THE THE 2004 NEC CHAMPIONSHIP AND TAKE HOME THE DIVISION-IAA MID-MAJOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
  8. i always liked the kind of floor they have at Duke, Indiana or Purdue, were the floor is on like a platform above the ground, and the benches and media seats are on the floor around the court...but i cant picture that at the RACC at all.
  9. i think they would want to have the Baseball on Campus probably, just an idea. But i think if they can get the baseball stadium set up with the stands and the press box, the 2005-06 season can easily get the Baseball tournament. When it comes to the basketball, the only place in Albany if anythign they would want to tournament is the Pepsi Arena, but they cant do that cause of Siena. But frankly, if we can get up there in basketball, i cant see how they can turn us away. Albany to me is much more attractive then Binghamton.
  10. im still trying to picture how they will put stands, or what kind of stands (what will it look like and stuff - metal or cement) and how th heck they aare gonna do it. I hope its ready by baseball season next year.
  11. yea i read earlier that they going to put it in after the Giants leave. No point of putting it in now when they got all the Giants stuff there.
  12. Former College of Charleston Director of Basketball Operatons...nothing to exciting, but whatever. It works.
  13. im glad...i thought Byrns got the other Asst Coaching job? Or is he still the Director of Basketball Operations?
  14. well let me tel lyou guys...ive seen these guys hanging around on campus and at the RACC while up there for 5 weeks...and everytime i saw them, they were all together...Mostly Zoellner, Iati, Lucious, Levi, and Wyatt. To me, it shows good chemistry. They always seemed to be j/k aroundw it heach other or having fun.
  15. i tell you DP, i dont know how his shooting is, but his inside game, dunking and rebouding is scary. I was at the RACC a few weeks ago, and saw him playing with Iati, Levi, and Jordan. His dunking was scary. i mean scary. i got chills...lets just end it at that.
  16. ive worked with the guy covering 1 or 2 games for the ASP. Such a nice guy. Pretty cool he gets to do this every year.
  17. Zoellner is on campus this summer taking summer classes. Zoellner, Iati, Levine, Jordan and Wyatt are all on campus as i know of, all taking summer classes i believe. I lived on Colonial for the past month, and saw them everyday.
  18. good, shows how this is a clean athletic department, and wont do stupied crap like Fresno St., Georgia, UNLV and other stupied things schools do.
  19. do we have any coaches besides Brown and Byrnes????? hahahahaha.
  20. besides Georgetown and Villanova, who else do we plan on playing in non-league???
  21. i like how they are going to add a press box also the the baseball field...i cant wait till we can listen to UA baseball on the radio as well.
  22. they are putting new bleachers on both the baaseball and softball field compaired to now??? Cause i know they have "bleachers", but are we talking actually stands??? Baseball i know is also sched to get a brand new scoreboard, like they have at the softball field, and new bullpens. Anyone know when they plan on releasing the information on the evaluation fo the facilities and what the plan is for a new stadium or whatever???? Everything looked good except the LAX/Soccer Field and the Football Field does look sad.
  23. yeah its Albany State, Georgia...its funny. My dad lives in Atlanta, and i had my Albany t-shirt on, and someone asked me if i went to Albany State. I told them it was UA in NY. He was surprised cause Albany State is a mostly black school, and was surprised i would be going there...just a little story.
