The crowd looked pretty big to me. We had 125+ people in the football alumni tent area and there were a lot of people outside the fence on top of the hill. Talking to some of the coaches after the game they are all frustrated about the slow starts. Part of the issue may be that the kids think they can pull away from anyone in the second half. Which in e NEC is probably true. That won't hold up in the playoffs though.

Fire away letters to the editor. They only way the TU will ever wake up is if fans show their support. I think the last few years have shown that ignoring the TU unfortunately somehow leads to the twisted conclusion which is that no one cares about UAlbany athletics. Why not turn it on their heads and inundate them with letters and emails?

As far as St Francis, they are better as they have focused on the rush offense and defense. They have zero passing game though. Our defense should be able to stop their rush. We stopped just about every rushing game so far.

We'll see about the heir apparent. McCarthy's offense is really firing on all cylinders the last two years, no doubt about it. Nothing against McCarthy, but I'll hold out hope that Pete Rossamondo at New Haven is the heir apparent. Plus - this job is going to be a seriously sought after job by FBS assistants. A CAA head coaching job is a really good job that could lead to a BCS head-coach job (see Mike London from Richmond to UVA).

Way out of place. Every team starts somewhere in Sagarin. For whatever reason, the Ivys get a huge preseason starting point. They don't play anyone out of conference except the Patriot league and they sort of become this self-fulfilling prophecy in the computers. I would take us over every Ivy team. Harvard is good, but no where near Top 5 and potentially not even a Top 25.

Our drop is closely tied to YSU getting demolished yesterday at NDSU. They dropped from 2 or 3 to 10.
