To me it sounds like a 2-1. Article would have mentioned a neutral game if that was a key detail...source wouldn't have left that out IMO. - llko
The blog post just seemed to be speculation not fact.
-
Hopefully - it's really not a 2 for 1 - 1 home for Siena, 1 Home for UA and 1 neutral site game where the arena seating is split in half.

.....but his release is SLLLOOOOWWWW. Like goodness gracious, get rid of it. - llko
But it acceptable to DePaul, Richmond, Duquense, Winthrop and Iona to name a few???????
I think the kid can play in the AE but I don't think we have a chance to get him.

I always thought Harris (who was very talented) was a three who wanted to be a two on the perimeter. He would rather shoot the three then fight on the block.
Travis Charles sounds like a guy who wants to be in the trenches -
He is a physical player that uses his body well and is a tough blue collar player. - Texashoops.comI don't know how good Charles is but I do know we have to somehow replace Sam's inside presence!
-
Not sure if this was posted - I found this interesting description of 6'6" Travis Charles
Travis Charles is back for his sophomore season for coach Raines, and is the team's work horse. Charles looked bigger and stronger and more skilled. He was able to get position on the interior to back down smaller forwards, and will take them off the dribble. He is a physical player that uses his body well and is a tough blue collar player. - texashoops.com -
Tremendous job by Peter!
At the 2:49 min mark you'll see Sam Rowley carrying the Australian flag and at the 51:00 min mark you'll see him applauding Peter!

I met Barrazza one day during the summer awhile ago and he was finishing up his degree at UA!

If you say 3 out of 14 that sounded mis leading because you can't get 14 out of 14 because you always have upper classmen - why not say we only have 3 Fr/Soph
But it really doesn't matter, we'll have to wait and watch as UA tries to go for a 4 pete (pun intended)
I would expect 4 year players to play a pretty big role this year with Peter, Mike Rowley, Dallas and Stire playing solid minutes. We'll see what Cremo and McKinley bring. There could be a total of 6 4 yr players contributing this season.
-
If I'm critiquing the roster, my only concern is that we have 3 players (Stire, Cremo, McKinley) who have the potential to be 4 year players as of now. 3 out of 14?- justdrastik1
If your counting all 14 you better add Peter, Mike R., Dallas & Reece that gives you 7 of 14 (not 3) potential 4 year players.
What is the main objective at the DI level? What do you want UA to do?
-
I for one think he will fit in fine, especially with Evan and Ray to guide him.
I think there were question marks with Jason Siggers, DJ Evans and Gary Johnson when they first signed with UA and how many NCAA appearances have they helped us to.
Not every JC recruit is going to work out but very few have had character issues. Though limited, I haven't read anything about this guy getting into or causing trouble.
I think CB knows what he has and knows what he's looking for. He surely must be concerned with who he brings in and how they will fit in with a solid group.

Competition should have been solid - DI JUCO.
His team won the Region 20 Championship.
Then lost in an inter regional game to Monroe (NY) who advanced to the national DI Tourney.
-
Hopefully it's from over aggressive play!!!!!
Easier to calm someone down then trying to light a fire under them.
Alaso I'll take 20 mpg from him if he delivers nearly a double double!!!!!!
-
Looks like a solid get.
From the Baltimore CC website:
Chas Brown (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic HS) was named to the All-Region Tournament Team. Brown averaged a double-double with 12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks
Brown and Kelly were also named to the All-Region First Team -

Rowley, Ennemma, Stire and Cremo are a core of 4 year players - who knows how they will develop in two years.
We still have to see how the roster is filled out for 15/16 as well as 16/17.
I don't worry too much about 16/17 I'm more concerned with 15/16!
-
16/17 players in hand now! - Peters (Sr) , Rowley (Sr), Ennema (SR), Stire (Jr) , Cremo (Soph) and Charles (Sr)
-
I believe Odunsi got a medical redshirt and then applied for a hardship waiver (no longer available).
-
Very strong Aussie contingent there. EW already has three Aussies on the roster now!
