The "history" link above says we're 2-0 vs UTAM, but the recaps are about us playing Florida A&M. I don't know that we've ever played the Texas Aggies,

Of course the ESPN announcer said we were in the field "for the very first time" (38:20 in the broadcast) and not the eighth time. Must've confused us with the aints.

Beyond playing Baylor in Football and a couple of "lessor" known TX schools in MBB, no recollection of playing Texas A & M in softball or any other sport.

Possibly UTAM-Corpus Christi in basketball. Played Stephen F Austin in football

Lady Danes played Texas A&M in the NCAA 1st Round down in College Station...   Had the 14th seed vs. # 3 seed Texas A & M and scared the heck out of them in the 1st half.... to lose 69 - 47.  This aging drummer remembers quite vividly the enormous red-dressed crowd with about 20 Pep Band members and a precious but boisterous purple speck of Great Dane fans.   It was an amazing trip.   Ahhh the memories...

Yeppers...   It was arguably their ultimate squad...   https://ualbanysports.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/2012-13      Shereesha Righards, Megan, Julie Forster, Ebone Henry, Sarah Royals, Lindsey Lowery, Keyana Williams, et al ...   and the whole roster contributed.   Mary Grimes was Coach Abe's # 2 coach.   Chuckle   I was joshing with my fellow older compatriot, Jay, that we should make sure we could figure out a way to hit a real authentic Texas Roadhouse somehow.  We heard in the late afternoon that we were to meet at the pep & cheer bus shortly.  And the normal pizza dinner was going to be at a Texas roadhouse.  😄    And then we wheeled into a shopping area and dined at THE Texas Roadhouse,   sigh    BUT!    we persisted and a few evenings later actually dined in a real Texas roadhouse w/ brisket & grits and white bread and butter.   A classic!
