Student Turnout

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I think that fans will come as the school promotes these teams well. There is no doubt that the majority of teams on this campus now have reached a high and very successful level of play. Now the trick is to promote these clubs properly and make it easy for fans to come to a game.

Alum73-I thought the candy thing was great. Hopefully get the students on a sugar buzz much like my newphew usually is when we bring him to games. Nice to have a positive alumni-student interaction but I can see where it would get costly.

Provide pizza for the students in one of the racquetball courts. Supply them with Purple tee-shirts that say "RACC Rowdies." Deal is, you only get pizza if you wear your shirt. I think a concept as simple as that would gain momentum.

I'll bring along the pizza idea to the Spirit Brigade meeting. If you have your shirt on, you get a couple free pieces of pizza. Heck, it would get me to physically wear the shirt more often too...lol.

Could you guys bring the radio guys some pizza :P

We usually have some...but we would be willing to do anything....promotions on air to get people to come to the game. Really I just think its a matter of people knowing exactly when the games are and that they are FREE. Im pretty sure most kids dont know about it....because its not that publicized.
