Yes, each round of regionals, super-regionals, and finals is a double-elimination. Super-regionals are also played on campus sites.

Correction, the super-regionals are two out of three. Eight teams then meet in a double-elimination at the CWS, then the final two teams play two out of three.

First, I know very little about NCAA softball. That said, I have heard that softball is much more competitive than other NCAA sports.

 

Maybe UA can win a game this weekend. I think Morin's Florida Atlantic team beat an SEC team in one of their appearances.

 

Would be the first D1 NCAA win.

 

I wonder if Cannata will get a contract extension?
