Where is Hughes?

He's not listed in the game preview on the UA website.

I hate to be negative, but if there was a good answer here, I'm guessing we would have heard it from some of our "insiders". It seems that Hughes has been away for around two weeks now, and basketball aside, how successful academically can one be under these conditions?

If this is the case, I am sorry to hear about this and send my condolences to Jamal and his family. I think several UAlbany posters feared Jamal would have to leave the program on a permanent basis since we heard no word over a long period of time. We have also had a history of players who vanished in the past for various reasons. Maybe he will return to the team within the next week or two.

Let's hope that he returns. It has been almost a month (based on the date of the notice) - it will be difficult to keep up academically if he has not returned to Albany.

Don't want to beat a horse, but where is this guy? It is too late to withdraw for the semester - that line was late October.

It's possible that he got some type of grief leave from school, which would force him to get his academics together next semester and he probably wouldn't play for a while, if at all. But at least he wouldn't be forced to unenroll.

No mention of Hughes in the game notes for Colgate. They do list Wilson as "doubtful"-seemingly a step-up from "out"
