Hughes, Ernest L. Sr.

Date published: 11/2/03

October 31, 2003. WW II Veteran of US Navy. He is survived by his devoted wife, HenryEtta M. Hughes; 1 son, Ernest L. Chip (Louvetus) Hughes all of Rochester, NY; 3 grandchildren, Jumaane, Jamal and Shahna; 2 brothers-in-law, Maj. Edgar McDonald of Arlington, TX, and Edward (Cora) McDonald of Pittsford, NY; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.NO PRIOR CALLING. Services at the convenience of the family. Arrangements, MILLARD E. LATIMER & SON.

If this is the case, I am sorry to hear about this and send my condolences to Jamal and his family. I think several UAlbany posters feared Jamal would have to leave the program on a permanent basis since we heard no word over a long period of time. We have also had a history of players who vanished in the past for various reasons. Maybe he will return to the team within the next week or two.
