Team has been practicing for a week, season starts a month from tomorrow.

The opener, at Johns Hopkins, will be on ESPNU

We've only lost one starter and two special teams players. The experience should (we hope) cut down on the mental errors that plagued us last year. FB player Dan Barnes is back, and Scott mentioned another player who should help at faceoffs, but he didn't say anything about new defensemen, unfortunately.

Their goal is to increase scoring by two/game, and cut down goals against by two. That would have won almost all our games last year.

2008 we should be at home for all of April, instead of on the road like this year. At least we have UMBC at home - March 31.

When someone donates money. People...ouor growth isnt a snap of the fingers thing. WE NEED EVERYONE's HELP. 5 bucks, 50 bucks, 500, 5000. Every dollar donated will help bring us to a level never imagined 10 years ago.

That's so true. There are plans for those seats. Some of the money was vetoed by the gov. We still need a lot of private $ for the stadium, before we can go to the state for 20 million or so. As our endowments grow, we can do more and more of the things we'd all like to see, so I encourage all of us to do what we can to make it happen.

Front page story in today's Gazette 'Great Expectations - Danes think they have the makings of a top-10 team"

Goal is to take it to the next level this year. With all but one starter returning, Marr believes this can be a special season.

We beat preseason #5 Georgetown 8-6 in a scrimmage.

Queener will play man-up with a short stick. :o

Watching UMass in the final after we beat them last year has the team champing at the bit.
