Brown also tries to schedule one game near the player's hometown during the player's four-year career. This year UAlbany plays on the road against Iowa State because of Wilson and Lillis.

 

"One thing I promised those kids was that we'd get them a game near home," Brown said. "When you have a kid from that distance, you always need to be making sure they're doing OK."

 

It's no wonder how he scores such good talent, he's a real stand-up guy. Bravo.

I liked when Siena men's basketball assistant coach Adam Chaskin, who is in charge of setting the non-con schedule is quoted as saying "If I can get Boston College to play home and home or Stony Brook home and home, it doesn't matter."

 

There is no problem with a home and home for one of the AE teams that has struggled the most in the past five years?

How about the same deal with UA?
