We, of course, haven't released the 2008 schedule, but others have started:

Monmouth:

8/30 at Rhode Island (CAA)

9/6 vs. Maine (CAA)

9/13 vs. Costal Carolina (Big South)

9/20 at Bryant (I-AA Indy)

9/27 at Robert Morris*

10/4 vs. St. Francis PA*

10/11 at Wagner*

10/25 vs. Central Connecticut*

11/1 at Albany*

11/8 vs. Sacred Heart*

11/15 at Duquesne*

*NEC games

This is a very good schedule. No games that Monmouth cannot win and two good out-of-conference home games in Maine and Coastal Carolina.

On this link you have to check the color scheme - light blue is "Confirmed Game & Unknown Date"

http://travisliles.com/fcs/schedules/2008northeast

Some one explain to me why we are going to Duquesne? They should be coming to us.

As a new league member, Duq had to get SOME home league games. Maybe as an associate member we get the short stick here.

Wagner released their schedule yesterday. We host them Nov. 15

First of all, I'm not sure that link is very accurate, even with those coded as confirmed. I haven't seen anything indicating that we don't play Fordham at home on September 13th. We have played them on the Saturday closest to September 11th for the last few years and I have no reason to think it won't be the same this year.

The only set games I've seen are the following:

8/30 @ UMass

9/20 @ UNH

9/27 @ Delaware

10/11 vs CCSU

11/1 vs Monmouth

11/15 vs Wagner

Bryant announced:

For those of you who don't know - Bryant is in their first transition year to DI from DII. They will be a full sport NEC member in 3 or 4 years I think. They have a pretty good first year schedule:

Aug. 30 at Central Connecticut, 5 pm

Sept. 6 SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT, 1 pm

Sept. 13 MERRIMACK (Homecoming), 1 pm

Sept. 20 MONMOUTH, 1 pm

Sept. 27 at Wagner, 1 pm

Oct. 11 at Marist, tba

Oct. 18 ROBERT MORRIS, 1 pm

Oct. 25 at UMass Amherst, tba

Nov. 1 DUQUESNE, 12 pm

Nov. 15 at Iona, 1 pm

Nov. 22 at Saint Francis (PA), 1 pm

Notice that us and Sacred Heart are the only NEC teams not on it. I think Sacred Heart probably because of scheduling issues.

For us, I think its a tell of what direction we are heading (out of the NEC).
