In his second year in the MLL, when he finished second in the league in scoring, Merrick took home some nice awards. He was named to the 1st-Team All-MLL and took home the 2008 Warrior Most Improved Player of the Year.

 

Also, if you get the chance, The Rochester Rattlers are competing on the MLL Semifinals this weekend. Brett Queener plays for them and I believe the game will be on TV (ESPN or ESPN2)

that was last year...he was drafted by Rochester before the summer.

Correct ESPN2 at noon on Saturday. The final is also on ESPN2. Sunday at 1. The games are in Boston.

Wow, I just watched the game that I recorded earlier. Queener comes in at the half with a 6-5 lead does not give up a goal for about 27 -28 minutes at which time it is 16-5.

Great game for Brett.. They seemed to be talking about Brett during the whole second half. Love to hear them mentioning the university of Albany during the MLL Final !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
