As a board, we should probably vote en masse for one of the two, rather than split the vote, no? I've made a poll as part of this post and will cast my official ballot in accordance with the majority based on the board's response.

EDIT - In editing the post, I apparently reset the voting, so can the two people who'd voted for Tim Ambrose already please vote again? Thanks!

At what point will this Board make the call and endorse one of the two candidates? I'd like to get the word out on social networking sites and be able to say that there has been an unofficial endorsement of one candidate for the purpose of unifying all of our votes and gaining leverage as a result thereof!

Emperor Nero is going to have someone's head. The rules say:

"Voting for round one will go through Friday, Feb 27 at 12 noon. Five finalists will be named to the final ballot with voting going through end of day Tuesday, March 3. The winner will be announced via AmericaEast.com on Wednesday, March 4."

Here we are at 2:00 PM on March 2nd and Round one isn't closed yet. At this rate, the final round voting may be lessened due to fans traveling to the tournament this weekend.

Who gets your vote for the 2009 America East Men's Basketball Fans' Choice Player of the Year?

Tim Ambrose, Albany

D.J. Rivera, Binghamton

Jay Greene, UMBC

Marqus Blakely, Vermont

Mike Trimboli, Vermont

Only one day left to vote, so try to get the word out if you can. It'd be nice if Tim can take this home and Albany can take home back-to-back Fans' Choice awards (Lillis won last year).

2nd place to Bingo has a bitter taste.
