UA Men's Basketball Minutes 2009-2010

An interesting note:

Before tonight's game Ambrose was leading the team in minutes per game at 27.2. This was good for 31st in the AE, and it will go down a little after tonight.

Before you reach Ambrose you have:

5 Bingo Bearcats

5 BU Terriers

4 New Hampshire Wildcats

4 Vermont Catamounts

3 Hartford Hawks

3 Maine Black Bears

3 Stony Brook Sea Wolves

3 UMBC Retrievers

Is this part of the problem?

Players Averaging Ten Minutes or More Per Team:

Albany 12

UNH 10

Hart 9

UMBC 9

Bing 8

BU 8 (BJ Bailey played in 6 games and is not counted.)

Maine 8

SBU 8 (Desmond Adedeji played in 7 games and is not counted.)

UVM 8

How about this? This is almost a reverse standings...

I would say yes. And I don't think it's just that we play a lot of players, it's also that there is no reasoning or consistency to the number of players playing. Guys go from 0 minutes to starting and from starting to 0 minutes. Metcalf starts and ends up w/ seven minutes? We had three starters w/ a total (yes combined total) of 34 minutes (see Allen, Aronhalt, Metcalf).
