According to ESPN Dan Leibovitz has resigned from Hartford with 4 years left on his contract to work at his alma mater PENN as an assistant. ???????

What? The first thing I thought when I read your post is Hartford dropping men's basketball? I'm sure it's unlikely but stranger things have happened in the AE recently.

It would made sense. It seems like Eaton is going to be head coach at some point but Hartford seems like a tough first job. I don't know if it's a tough place to win or they just had bad luck with coaches. Leibovitz seemed like a good young coach when he got there, seems like there is more going on here.

No particular order but for Eaton...I think he may have a slight edge here. All three have AE connections...all three played...all three have head coached at some level...and all three have NY/NJ ties, though Grasso and Duke (particularly Duke...through Hofstra signings) probably have stronger AAU connections.
