Heard from a nearly-unimpeachable source (bartender at ATSP) that it will probably be early April, as the weather warms up, before the second deck starts getting assembled. But he thought that would be prefab concrete sections, I thought the second deck would be all steel, unless it's concrete on steel supports.

So, it looks like they removed the one tile on the North Tower that appeared not to match the color for the base of the tower.

Wrong order of tiles, or was there just a peelable protective quote on them?

The metal panels were mockups to review for fit and finish of corners and joints prior to assembly. They will be removed and final panels will be installed.

Thank you for the info, Brutus. With all the interior work the webcam gets a little boring, and I have to try to create my own excitement.

Anything we should be looking for in the near future?

Saw on the webcam today something yellow going up under the eaves. Turns out to be Georgia Pacific DensGlass Sheathing - sheet rock.

Also, the green trailer behind the ticket booth was open and had a lot of PVC pipe in it, so maybe they can work on that this week.

  • 2 weeks later...

In that night cam photo post, it looks like the elevator shaft stops at the first pressbox level..

In today's cam shot, it looks like it extends to the 2nd level. What's the 1st phase plan.

I'd imagine it should be totally extended now.

I believe the first phase was to include the elevator functionality all the way to the future 3rd level - basically on top of the roof that will be there now. The press-box/suites tower was designed to hold an additional level in a future build-out.

Correct.
