Indoor Practice Facility or Upgraded Bubble

State funding will be a hastle. UB has had plans for a ~$25M fieldhouse (practice field, indoor regulation track, 1000 seats, lockers, meeting rooms, weight/cardio-training facilities) for a few years now and gave up on any state help. We call it the preppy "Athletics, Recreation and Wellness Center" and got local school districts pushing for it, for their own benefit. Nada. All private funding, which takes a while.

Well, the NY Football Giants of New Jersey. Which at least is in the US of A, instead of the Buffalo Bills of Toronto.

True, plus I'm not sure I'd want my tax dollars being spent on an indoor facility at the Ohio State University at Buffalo either.

Oh boy...last four posts are priceless.

 

BTW, watching the most BOOOOOOORING Hard Knocks ever last night (Jeez Joe Philbin, please get that stick out of your ass), and forgot about the nice bubble at Nova that the 'Fins use.

 

If we cand do that with our bubble...we'd be all set. While we'd all love a practice facility to the nines, I'd say wait until the stadium is complete (this facility will likely be attached to the stadium and include lockerrooms, academics and training center)...and have the bubble serve as a practice only facility.

On a cheaper note, the T-U Campus Notebook reports that Hudson Valley CC is building a new track/artificial turf/plus practice field complex for $3M.
