Billy Allen

That line is very scary.  Looks like Iati's line for this season, lol.

I didn't want to go there because Iati has meant a lot to his team over the years, but he does seem to be having some trouble finding his shot this season. I hope he gets better soon, because I think he is one of the most respected players on the team.

His shooting percentage is certainly concerning - but it's only been 2 games. Let's see how he progresses.

The good news with Iati is the UMBC road game is early this year - he always has a great game at UMBC. I think that game is in early January so he'll get hot there and hopefully it carries over. :)

Billy Allen team's site is updated to include last night's game:

Game-By-Game Statistics

Date Opponent Result FGM-A MIN 3PM-A FTM-A OREB REB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS

12/1/2006 Oak Hills W 65-54 2-7 31 0-4 2-4 0 6 5 2 1 4 2 6

12/2/2006 Springfield South W 59-43 3-14 25 0-8 3-4 0 2 4 2 1 3 2 9

12/13/2006 @ Lakota West L 43-34 6-12 30 0-5 3-3 0 2 2 2 1 4 1 15

12/16/2006 @ Lakota East W 59-48 3-6 22 0-0 8-8 0 1 0 0 0 2 3 14

I guess he may have abandoned the 3-point shot until it comes around again....Sounds like a prudent course of action (Wink, wink.)

While the good news keeps rolling for recruit Anthony Raffa, it appears that Ohio's Billy Allen is having a much more difficult senior year.

Last night's game:

Player FGM-A 3PM-A FTM-A OREB DREB REB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS

ALLEN,Billy 1-9 1-4 0-0 1 0 1 2 1 0 2 1 3

This has to be becoming a slight concern for anybody involved, as he is now shooting 31.7% from the feild and 8% from 3-pt land, for an average of 9.5ppg this season. Here's to hoping he starts enjoying a better senior year.

Monsieur Allen may have finally found found his shooting and scoring touch, as demonstrated in his team's most recent game:

Date Opponent Result FGM-A MIN 3PM-A FTM-A OREB REB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS

1/3/2007 @ Milford W 65-60 8-17 38 4-11 4-8 1 4 4 2 3 1 4 24

Let's hope that the good news keeps rolling...

The most recent game, as alluded to:

Date Opponent Result FGM-A MIN 3PM-A FTM-A OREB REB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS

1/6/2007 @ Princeton W 59-45 6-12 29 3-6 3-5 4 10 4 2 0 4 3 18

It is nice to see the shooting touch returning.

Also, still no update on the 12/28/06 game.
