This site will have the stats for Billy Allen for each game. Looks like he is struggling from beyond the arc at this point, but from everything I've read his outside shot is supposed to be one of his strengths.

Nice link, but that early shooting line is rather scary.

I just hope he finds his shooting groove by November 2007.

I didn't want to go there because Iati has meant a lot to his team over the years, but he does seem to be having some trouble finding his shot this season. I hope he gets better soon, because I think he is one of the most respected players on the team.

His shooting percentage is certainly concerning - but it's only been 2 games. Let's see how he progresses.

 

The good news with Iati is the UMBC road game is early this year - he always has a great game at UMBC. I think that game is in early January so he'll get hot there and hopefully it carries over.

Keep in mind he is still coming off an injury and we remember how long it took Lu to come back last year. Lets go easy on him and see what happens.

Just checked some sites on Billy Allen - he is very highly rated. After last season:

1. rated 13th best player in Ohio

2. rated 3rd best wing forward in Ohio

 

I don't know if there has been a recruit for UA rated that highly in their state...

It looks like his team had a bad night last night, but that Allen's shooting touch may be coming around (except that he is still shooting dreadfully from beyond the arc.)

While the good news keeps rolling for recruit Anthony Raffa, it appears that Ohio's Billy Allen is having a much more difficult senior year.

This has to be becoming a slight concern for anybody involved, as he is now shooting 31.7% from the feild and 8% from 3-pt land, for an average of 9.5ppg this season. Here's to hoping he starts enjoying a better senior year.

Looks like Allen is still struggling with his shot. Two poor shooting performances his last 2 games and only 37% FG on the season (23% FG from 3pt).

 

On the bright side he is still 2nd on his team in scoring, and 1st in assists, rebounds, blocks and steals.
