Not that I have seen. I have seen public expressions of hopes for a football conference with a lot of the same teams. It was just under the umbrella of AEast Football. Not CAA management. That was also when there was no CAA football. Are the chances of America East adding football looking any better now? I gotta believe those discussions have been ramped up in light of what is going on in the CAA.

This is why I get so ticked off when I read on other boards about how SBU is a better fit for the CAA. We've had WAY more success in D1 athletics!

It'll be interesting to see how everything shakes out. Kind of exciting! This is a real test of McElroy's leadership...if he can get us into the CAA or something better, you can consider me a fan.

What's up with all the hate? We have a gleaming new stadium on the way and everyone is bitching about our athletics department. Maybe I'm just being naive, but I refuse to believe we are building BOB FORD STADIUM to just sit idly by in the NEC. Things will progress after we have our stadium, I am confident in that.
