Hey, hey, hey Bigpurplefans lets all get our undies untangled here. Biting sarcasm and truths from Mrs. always hurt like a Great Dane chomping on your privates;). My beer, attendance, and whimpy walking statements were relevant in that I thought the idea was a "beer garden" like football has where you can watch the game live with a frosty, we should always look for ways to improve the experience / attendance not settle for comparisons with other AEast schools, and it seems I'm not alone in the parking suggestion - I'm really trying to think like the average Joe who needs reasons to come and campus and a good experience to come back. There's nothing that can easily be done about the parking but it still should be part of planning. Finally, if Benson has time to consistently reply to fan emails he should be fired because he needs to focus on the bigggggg picture and bigger $. Associates, interns, ... that's what they should be very attentive at. Can't wait to see the arena more full when the students come back!

Great comments all. Food - Sedexo needs to be negotiated OFF the athletic venues. Beer, ... a renovated SEFCU should have a beer garden in the arena. Students - it takes a Growl like effort to get significant student participation -the why of that occupies many good minds on campus. Parking - free parking 1/4 mile away on a freezing night does not incentivize me to go and yes that is enough to keep casual fans away. It's all about the experience so lets summarize =blah food and no beer to make that not matter, half +empty seats, inconistent team during regular season with a style of play only die hard bball fans appreciate, and if first and last impressions matter - a freakin long cold walk back to the car. That's enough to take the shine off an evening and give the edge to what ever else is going on.

First four games will fly by and 4-0 start would be nice! I know Lowell has outperformed in the OOC season and as we saw with Niagara a young team like NH at home against a sick and tired group can always turn ugly. Hopefully a lot of hralth returned and kinks get worked out before SBU away on the 19th.

You guys, as in Click and UA08, are so Siena sighted. Niagara is a much better team than you thought. A little homework reveals a Niagara team that has battled hard all OOC season with a crazy hard RPI. That got taken out on our depleted group tonight. If WB wasn't mad at these guys, disappointed but clearly understanding what just happened then the vitriol posted tonight was, well Siena like.
