To that point, I literally could not care less if there are 500 less fans at a ho-hum conference game against Maine or something because all the LCC stooges didn't show up. By them buying season tickets, it's money in UA's pocket. Done and done. I care. It's a lot easier to recruit with a full and boisterous arena. -

I also think after this years recruiting class, where it was a small offer class to begin with, and was so Juco focused, a lot of us are eager to see what 4 year offers we're going out towards. -

The 6’11 centre showed out in a major way on the AAU circuit. If a team managed to box him out on successive possessions, they considered that a win. That’s how tough Brent is to stop on the boards. Throw in more than capable hands and impressive footwork, and you’ve got yourself one 220-pound monster. On top of this is Brent’s monster heart. He played through injury. He played through illness. He had his own rendition of the “flu game” in which he still had the game-sealing block and offensive rebound. It’s no wonder Division I schools, Albany, Idaho and Robert Morris have all come knocking for the 2017 big. -

U of Illinois is one of the finest public institutions in this country. Much higher in prestige and endowment than UA and a good model for what we should hope to become.

A ton more offers out according to Verbal Commits. Seems like more than normal for this staff. New strategy ? Any one have any insight? -

I was agreeing with you. Pointing out the irony of someone who doesnt want to give because they disagree with a specific policy, objecting to the state not spending money because of a specific policy -

How does not giving to UA, which does not get a ton of funding from the State and can use every penny donated, help? Really, you've had some awfully illogical posts over the years...but this one may be at the top of the list. Maybe sort of in the same way that not giving any of UA's money to the state government that is discriminating against a class of people will help...mmm..smell the irony. -

LOL It's absolutely ridiculous. We'll go play a school that covered up some of the worst human beings ever, but we won't play Duke because of NC's bathroom policies. It actually goes far deeper than a bathroom and to the core of businesses allowed to be able to discriminate based on sexual identity. Not too dissimilar to Jim Crow not too long ago. The state's policy is that they do not want to give any tax dollars to NC, and by staying in hotels, and paying taxes to business they would supporting the law. It's much more of a human rights issue than a political one. -

Or on a more pragmatic tangent, say that to SBU who used politics to build some pretty damn nice facilities. -

Nvm. It's the gov decision. No state sponsored travel. It's tough for the kids who wanted to play there but ultimately they'll understand the broader ramifications of this. Who knows, maybe if more folks take this stand the law will change..: Not hoping this turns political btw so please keep any shrapnel to yourselves -

Not coming up for me but who cancelled because of HB2. If it was a team decision that's pretty great
