I agree about 4,000 for the first game it will most likely be an attendence record. I don't know how anybody else feels about this but I really doubt we could ever get 5,000 people to fit into the RACC comfortabley, I just don't think the arena could deal with that many. People should definitly pack snacks for the game because getting food at halftime with that one little stand in the lobby will be a nightmare. Should be a good game to watch and its a perfect game for Albany really to shine. I believe we beat Sacred Heart badly last year at there home court. Does anyone know anything about how good SH might be this year? Also I think attendence might be really helped if we can win against Florida, if we can beat Florida and get national attention and play at MSG I would be willing to bet that we will have a sell out at our season opener. And I think Florida can be beatin if we play a smart game. By the way has there been any info on how good Oakland is? I've noticed there isn't alot of talk about them. If memory serves don't they have a fairly young team this year?

you know i really wish UAlbany would get with St. John's and Notre Dame when it came to Athletics. Id love to play them in basketball, i know they played them in lacrosse this weekend at the Baltimore tourny. Vollyball would be good also. Baseball would be an awesome match up as well.

id love to see an update on the site for it...i think this field is gonna be sick when complete and you get fans out to it...i mean its gonna change the face of field hockey and lacrosse like never before...like to see them update the info on the Facilities Page with a finished pic and info on it when its done ( i expect they will)

Anyone heard or seen anything about these two. Scouts has them listed as offers from UA...Zampier getting looked at by alot of people (Indiana, W. Virginia, Siena, DePaul)...anyone know anything?

UAlbany Campus can mean the practice field (were Rugby plays) etc...but if its Fallon Field, thats awesome, especially since its Homecoming and Family Weekend. Yea i wonder what type of scoreboard and where the bleechers will be positioned etc...Lights are awesome since i still like the idea of night games.

To me, the AE needs to try and jump in on this deal if they can. 3 NY teams, all within the major Time Warner and Comcast broadcast areas, owners of the new network. They have tons of free space available for programing since they dont have any professional winter sports. All they have lined up in Big East and Big Ten Football and Basketball...if AE can get a few games on that network, it works. Opinions?

considering the University is pushing this "Danes after Dark" stuff this year, and the possibilities for both teams, i would think that maybe something like that would be fun to have... maybe, will see
