I could still see McCarthy as OC, Christ as DC and Rossamondo as HC. Both McCarthy and Christ were coaches while Rossomondo was here.

Wow. I'm actually shocked. Drew Christ is an absolutely great hire and hopefully will be a guy that is here for a very long time. But I am shocked that Simp is no longer the DC. This would ahve been 28 years I believe.

I can tell you now that next year will be even bigger for signing day. This year was a test run of sorts. Next year is supposed to be an event.

Don't want to be a "Debbie Downer" on what appears to be an amazing class; but the article reiterates home opener 9/14. Maybe because I have waited so long and I am so anxious to get into the new stadium, but I am still very bummed that we can not get someone/anyone there for an 8/31 or thereabout OPENER! You're always the debbie downer. We're used to it. And yes - it stinks, but it is what it is. lets pack the house on the 14th and enjoy the amazing progress.

FCS transfers have to sit a year I think. The FBS transfers can play right away. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of these Frosh play right away. I think we'll need them on defense.

Ngachie turned down offers from Syracuse and Virginia definintely. Rivals also had listed offers for him from Purdue, Virginia Tech, Hawaii and Delaware

Word is Downer (QB VA) turned down a late offer from Penn State.

Yes. Apparently we already have two 2-star recruits. That might not mean much in the long run, but it's certainly a change from the level we used to recruit. We also have a lot of scholarships to give out. I would suspect we have at least 7-10 full rides with the rest getting split up.

Junior films look good. Solid hands. Good possession receiver. His QB in this film is a beast. Vad Lee. He's a QB at Georgia Tech now.
