Future UAlbany Basketball Schedules

Ok...what I have been reading and that is being said by many coaches and CBB reporters after the brackets released is that big time conferences should not be scheduling good mid-major teams. Many major programs should just pay reasonable buy games and let them run-up the score on those mid-majors. If that is the case/trend UA should not be scheduling DII or DIII teams from this point forward. I would rather go get my ass beat and learn playing those teams then play these cupcakes. At least I wouldn't feel as crappy about an under .500 season. Give me an all DI schedule from this point on.

By the way, at this point the NIT is a mid-major tournament. The amount of major programs skipping the NIT to focus on the portal and recruiting is pretty interesting. So if UA can get things together, be a around a .500 program (including conference schedule), maybe NIT and CBI and CIT

Perhaps, team are skipping the NIT (and the CI or CIT) is the requirement to pay a hosting fee for a first-round game.  Can anyone name of last year's NIT Tournament Winner? (No Cheating) The NIT importance continues to shrink.

Under the right circumstances, 1 or 2 games against DII/DIII when you have a balance mixture of OOC schools.  Yes, the potential of losing badly to Power 5 Conference team is hard thing to accept, yet it comes with the potential of an upset win.

The NIT also changed the selection process this year. They took away the Autobid for conference regular season champions and instead guaranteed two bids each to the Power 6 conferences. It’s interesting that a lot of those teams are now declining.

I don't remember who won the NCAA!
