Binghamton

This is a huge game for both teams. If Binghamton wins, they are in the driver's seat and I like their chances to win the regular season title. If Albany wins, they proved they can win at Binghamton and will probably feel more comfortable playing at the Events Center in March. A Saturday win by Albany would allow them to control their own destiny with a tiebreaker over the Bearcats. The Danes need to get the monkey of their backs now so it doesn't create more pressure down the road.

If the Danes can play well at UCLA and Florida, why not at their conference rival's house?

Saturday is a huge game. Will need a collective strong effort to win on the road in a hostile environment. A win validates Danes as the frontrunner. A loss makes it almost certain conf final will not be at the RACC.

Why are we having so much trouble scoring?? At the beginning of the year, the concern was too many scorers, not too few.

Which Albany team will show up on Saturday? Maybe Saturday the Danes can play a solid 40 minutes of basketball. Albany definitely has more talent than Binghamton. Hopefully Binghamton's aggressive Defense does not get in to the Albany's players heads. According the Binghamton's website there are still seats available for the game.

It's called making shots!!!

With Lu preseason All AE and Iati returning our offense was suppose to be explosive. If we knew that they were both going to have subpar seasons the expectations would have been much less. Hopefully they snap out of it. Lu has shown signs of coming to life.

Brent Wilson since hurting his hand has been in a shooting funk and not only from three, he's missed alot of straight up layups.

Jamar has often been put into the precarious position of carrying too much of the load.

We need a couple of guys to step up and start knocking down the open opportunities they get.

The Danes scored 62 the other night and missed something like 15 3pfg in a row. If they shot decently they would have put 80 on the board.

Offenses are explosive when you make shots, the Danes just haven't made the open shots that they are suppose to be able to make. We even struggle at times from the FT Line where other than ZO the Danes should be quite efficient.

According to a buddy of mine, Mike and the Mad Dog talked briefly about the game. Thought you guys might find it interesting. See below:

"Mike and the Mad Dog were killing some time and got to talking about Binghamton basketball because one of their producers is a Binghamton alum and is gonzo about his team this year. So Francesca brought up that they're at the top of the America East and playing Albany in a big game this Saturday. Then he said he was pulling for Albany because he and dog have met some members of the Danes hoops team during their visits to Giants training camps. Dog concurred, saying he likes the guys from Albany. On the road at Binghamton with Dog pulling for you is a tall order. Woof!"
