SAN DIEGO...is not the best team in IAA mid-major. That belongs to Monmouth or Albany, proving it out on the field!

While I agree in concept, I think its too hard to knock a team from #1 if they have been there in the past and have yet to lose.

 

But I am going to stop looking at the mid-major polls. We should be ranked in IAA top 25 and I'd rather focus on that.

Albany is ranked for the first time in school history and becomes the second Northeast Conference school to earn a top 25 nod. The Great Danes knocked off Central Connecticut State, the first ranked NEC team, to earn a spot in the poll. Western Illinois and Northern Arizona are ranked for the first time since 2004, while Harvard was in the top 25 last year.
