Small school, big dreams in the Times-Union.

Nice that they assign a college football story to the Siena beat writer, who thinks that Albany has a similar football profile to Pikeville (NAIA, 1000 students, eastern Kentucky), Occidental (D-III, 1800 students, Los Angeles), Western Oregon (D-II, 4000 students) as well as North Dakota State - that is, college football is either Division I FBS (if he knows the subdivision name) or everybody else.

TU: putting the U in "useless" once again. They need to clean up that page too.

Coach Ford on Dan Murphy this afternoon.

Bocanegra moving to WR mostly because we dropped 46 passes in 11 games last year. He may also return kicks, or we may use some freshmen there. We also had too many turnovers, and weren't efficient in the red zone.

This may be the fairest schedule of the last few years, with Hofstra not what they used to be and coming to our place, and two Patriot League teams.

Too early to tell how Tougas will fit in , but he and Nguti w/ Pagano should make for a pretty good OLine. We'd like to go in with 7 O linemen that we think we can win with, and we're almost there.

Omar Johnson, McCarty, Simmons and others make an excellent stable of RBs.

Offense and Dline will be the strength - Trevor Anderson may become an NFL prospect. Replacing Chrobak and Barksdale will be key.

The conference in winnable. Punter and FG kicker are back - Lynch will be back next year as well.

Ford says the Capital District needs the stadium, not just the University.
