I see that the 08-09 womens roster has been posted on the UAlbanysports website

and does not include Tanika Thrower, Joy Sterling or Kirsten Peterson.

 

I pretty much know Tanika Thrower's story, but could someone enlighten me about the others?

Maybe both graduated early? Both were seniors. This is just a guess not sure.

joy is now at vanguard university...the 2008 naia national champs, but not sure if she is playing there.

Didn't Kirsten Peterson redshirt her first year? She would have academically been a senior this past year.

According to the America East prospectus both coach Johnson and coach M. Patterson have left as well. It shows Danielle Hutcheson as an assistant, Does anyone know if this info is indeed correct?

The website now confirms that Danielle Hutcheson is an assistant coach.

i absolutely love the fact that Hutch is back home at UA...wow, I am excited. Coach Johnson was a nice person, as I got to know he when I was in my final year broadcasting. I doesn't seem that the other coach Patterson has left.

 

however, having Hutch back at UA...that is a real treat. If there is anyone who knows the post position when it comes to AE Basketball, it is Hutcheson.
