Seriously, 20 rebounds?

Recommended Posts

Those are big numbers, but she had to play all forty minutes to get them.

It would've been more impressive if she hadn't missed three foul shots.

Really, every time down the court she was flying over people for rebounds, diving for loose balls, and penetrating the lane. And a good performance by the rest of the team, pressing LaSalle early and handling the Explorers' press easily.

Other people might be able to answer this better but Craig didn't seem injured at the scrimmage but did not play. Some people mentioned that she might red-shirt. Although she's a foot shorter our freshman hopes might be better put on Sarah Royals.

Forster was unreal yesterday. I don't watch a lot (ok, any) womens games but my daughter has shown an interest so we took a look. That was one of the best single game performances I've seen at UA. On top of the great stats she was part of bringing the ball up against the press.

That exchange was good for a chuckle.

Whoops...

20-20 Vision

Forster's 26-point, 20-rebound performance against La Salle on Nov. 13 wasn't only a career game, but it was one of the conference's top individual efforts of the decade. It was the first 20+ point, 20+ rebound game since two-time America East Player of the Year Heather Ernest (Maine '04) recorded 21 points and 21 rebounds at New Hampshire on Jan. 14, 2001.

Back to impressed with Forster. Less impressed with Haggy.
