For those who didn't see Santillo's tweet - right after this photo today, plastic started going up around the north tower and the lower level of the grandstand

Taking advantage of the good weather out there today. Retaining walls are going in around the endzone seating on the east side.

I wonder if they're working into the night now? The lighting up there now seems to be much more than just security lights.

Electrical contractor on site needs (whether part of electrical contract or an "extra" to contract) to install temporary lighting on the jobsite. This is a simple part of security / safety on the jobsite. I believe thats all you have onsite right now, figuring the electricians are installing conduit and wire in the walls, plumbers are installing their piping in the structure, media specialists are installing their wiring, etc... Possible concrete requirements are being poured and the interior walls, etc are being installed by the Carpenters union and Laborer's union personell on the project. Again, IMO.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that we are ahead of the game with this LED display that has multi-level PIP and multi-advertising scrolling on the bottom left/right panels to go with game day statistics. This is a first...being ahead of the game...with the University.

 

However, I hate the upper part. I wish the Great Dane lettering on the upper left and right had a solid backing behind it to make the letters pop. Maybe it will look better in person.

BTW...the actual videoboard is really big- 7 yards high by 10 yards wide. That's huge.

And that's only the interior section. I don't think that counts the exterior "wings" which are an additional 11 feet wide.

The sound system "delivers clear and intelligible speech". Funny that they specified that, bu from what we've had maybe they had to..

Based on the pictures and design plans for the new stadium, does anyone here have any advice or thoughts about whether I should purchase my season tickets in the lower or upper deck?
