Kinda early but what the heck. They have Albany has a 14 seed playing Arizona State in Lexington Kentucky. Probably a better match-up than North Carolina was last year.

 

They have Marist as a 10 seed AND they have Iona in as well at an #11 seed. Wwwwhat! Two MAAC teams in the tournament! In their bracket Iona is playing #6 seed Syracuse.

This morning we're listed as a #13 seed, still vs. ASU in Lex. But I doubt these rankings are worth any more than Lunardi's men's rankings at this time.

There are 2 maac teams on this Bracketology. It would appear these are weven worth less than Lunardi's

I don't really worry about this until they make the tournament and then I always say 800 miles or less and I am there

Mapquest has Lexington 797 miles away from Albany and the Kentucky baseball team is home that weekend so I would be there if this actually happens

It looks like UMBC even setting foot in the SEFCU has cost UA's RPI to plummet.

 

Despite Tuesday's win, UA's RPI drops from 101 (I believe) down to 121, with a SOS of 321.

 

Big game tonight (at SBU)...a win there would be nice.

That's a terrible SOS...ouch, no wonder they are crushing everyone.

What's terrible is that they have marist a 10 seed and UA a 13.

They best swap those two seedings, as UA actually deserves the 10.

Saw today the women have the longest conference winning streak in Division I. 32 games, tied with Hampton right now. I'll be rooting for Howard, Norfolk State and Maryland Eastern Shore in the next couple of weeks so we don't have to share that record any more.

The women's team deserves a lot more attention than it gets. I have attended most of their home games. They are special. If any of UA's teams is going to do something big time it is the Lady Danes. It's the right time to create a buzz on campus and in the community!

Women are going for a record 37th straight conference win tonight against Bing. Could be quite a night if Vermont beats UNH it would be a conference title clinching win also.

Women win at UNH, 60-47, bringing their record to 25-3 and 15-0 in conference. With the win, the regular season championship is clinched.

 

Another INCREDIBLE season for the Lady Danes...with the potential for more!
