Georgetown

UA is trying to get a game in mid-December against UA

UA can definatly beat UA. No doubt about it.

The Villanova game is on a Wednesday. I was really hoping it would be on a weekend so I could make the trip. Hopefully Georgetown gives us a better day.

The secondary motive in scheduling these games in major metropolitan areas is to generate interest (and fund raising potential) amongst alumni in the area. From this perspective, weeknights are better for scheduling ######tail receptions, etc.

sorry about the UA vs UA thing...what i liked about the article was that it said UA has alot of alumni in Washington D.C...no duh...its good to know we are targeting cities that we can get some fan support in.

I say keep bringing on the Big Dogs!!! UAlbany should soon be decent program as have nothing to lose & everthing to gain in these kind of games. When Binghamton almost knocked off North Carolina it made national news. At this point, being able to hang around with these guys somewhat will only be positive in long run. Hopefully someday these will be our regular type opponents.
