I am going to TRY to stop mentioning players by name when being negative.  After all they are kids [to me anyway], learning to play together trying to build chemistry.

Watching game again and focusing on Middies and Close Def.   Gleason playing REALLY well.  Two Sophomore middies and close def actually not looking bad, but got beat on what looked like just mental errors.  Tanner Hay looks pretty good too!  Kuntz looks good as well.  Man down, different players no #4

.Didn't notice yesterday but 2nd Q first time Diamond is in the game!  GREAT slide by Tanner Hay to cause a turnover!  He is playing well!!

I retrospect our middies and wings were fighting like hell for the ground balls!  I Like it!  I mistakenly blamed terrible slides on the two sophomores getting beat for goals.  One on one and just got beat, slow feet maybe.  BUT no defender can win all of those!

My original assessment stands!  Great game, great over-all play.  Always gonna be breakdowns - FO is a huge concern.  Hope Jones is back for Cornell!

#32 and #42 just got beat in one on one match ups a few times. Mailman for Drexel was an elite wide receiver in high school and is going to give a lot of defenders a tough time this year, but #42 did a great job fighting for ground balls. Disagree on Hay. I don't think he has gotten a single ground ball and is always skirting on the outside. You are right he did make a good slide on that one play, but also got beaten badly on another man down. #44 and #50 need to be getting all the LSM reps.

Those comments were after I watched the game again on replay and went back over and over on some plays!  Sorry but I just don't agree.

No mention of how Jonesy is doing on Marr's weekly show on 104.5.

Got a few days to get over the flu!  Really need him I'd say.

A little confused about who's #1 @ face-off? Altamari coming out of high school was more highly touted {Ranked the #6 incoming faceoff specialist in Class of 2017 by Inside Lacrosse... } and I thought I heard before the cuse game he was named #1? Jones seemed to do a little better in the cuse game, but certainly not dominant or anything. Altamari definitely did not do well @ drexel and no way of knowing if Jones would have done any better. I am not sure why some are anointing Jones as our savior at the X. {NOT saying your wrong, hopefully he IS; just wondering the reasoning??]

Jones was FAR better.  Jones had the flu against Drexel. Supposedly we have a top rated FO kid committed for next year.
