I'll say it again...you have to be encouraged with Nichols getting it together. It appears somethings has clicked, he's not forcing things, distributing the ball, efficient on offense. 5 of the last 6 games he's north of 100 orating...shot attempts namely that long pull up 2 are way down. He's picking his spots much better.

XXFrJS7.png

The stat that makes me happy is that he's averaging 5.3apg over the last 3 games.

Indeed. As David goes, it makes us so dangerous. It opens the floor for Joe...and makes space for Travis to operate from 15 feet in. Thats an almost unstoppable triple headed monster, and allows guys like Foster and Stire to clean up the offensive glass and get easy 4-8 foot looks.

While his play was frustrating to all of us...Im sure it was more frustrating to David. As I said during his slump, he didnt lose his talent and he didnt forget how to play. He forgot to have fun and just react. Hes doing both now. His body language is so different. Good for him!!!

I agree about his body language. He brings so much to the table when he has it going, offense and defense, but his body language often tells the story if you tuned in late as to how his night is going. It must be tough to go through a stretch where you are not performing up to par and have little help to back you up in the form of a reserve though.

I have been a reader of this blog for a long time and just recently started posting.I follow the team very closely, attend a lot of games and have been a Danes fan since the beginning of the D1 era. I know guys on here are frustrated with the productivity of the bench and a capable back up PG would have been great when David was off. Hopefully Costa can continue to play well and give quality minutes. It was a nice boost in the Hartford game. Foster seems to maybe be finding some consistency.

I'm still convinced it was all pressure he put on himself to hit 1K. Dude has been playing WAYYYYY better since reaching the milestone.

Goodness! Nick is hilarious.

"Scotia's Mayor"
"Follow me on <shameless social media plug>"

Hahahah. They need to mic him every game from here on until he graduates. I'd love to sit with a guy like that on the bench haha, hell, in the stands.

Not sure what you have planned but you really need to recalibrate your priorities.

I would feel a lot better if we were able to start to get a lead and extend it to 8-10 points and hold at that margin for a while. Don't want to be in a back and forth, or behind to a team that isn't as good as you. Don't want to let them hang around within striking distance all game long.
