Terrific win. Does anyone know what’s up with Ford and DeCortes? Injuries? Red shirt?

Ford had a sinus condition, went home to be treated by her own doctor. I thought she was supposed to be back soon. Think I saw DeCortes on the bench.

This team is coming around, but they still have no depth and don’t shoot very well

Nice win... didn't know if they could generate enough offense to come back.  Getting some production from Aslan and Conroy certainly helps!

Both Ford and DeCortes looked good for Frosh in early games but if possible I would redshirt both to give them more playing time and a MS degree.  We have 4 very good bigs now and their playing time would be limited.  We need guards!!

Meanwhile the ladies beat UML. Maybe Donnie Bassett could work with them on FTs. If they could hit some foul shots they’d definitely improve. Oh, the women drew almost double the crowd for their game than the UML men did. That’s nice.

UA women play hard.  However, I agree, if they do not improve their free throw shooting, they will lose some games that are, otherwise, winnable.

At Thanksgiving I would not have bet the women to have more wins than the men at this point. Good ball movement and hustle today. Both Ford and deCortes played today

Looks like UMBC will spend an extra night or two in Albany

Women take a 15-2 lead and wire Stony Brook 54-49, so the athletic dept. still gets cider donuts tomorrow.

Should give props to the Coach Mullen and the ladies.   What looked like a total rebuild this season is turning into a solid team capable of a top 4 finish in the AE.  And this is without a top MVP team type player who stands out like Richard's or Tate.  Good team efforts.

Are we running out of Forsters or is there a little sister in the wings? 🙍‍♀️

Ouch.  Women lost by 46 to Hartford  today.  Obviously they are the class of the AE at 7-0.

P.S.  Tomorrow at 4pm on the deuce is UCF at UConn.  Coach Abe has them at 17-2 on the season.
