Ouch.  Women lost by 46 to Hartford  today.  Obviously they are the class of the AE at 7-0.

P.S.  Tomorrow at 4pm on the deuce is UCF at UConn.  Coach Abe has them at 17-2 on the season.

Really missin Coach Abe.

I heard somewhere that the girls had like 34 TO's today? Is that true? If so...what happened?

Eli, wish it was 34 TOs.  Was 38 according to box.  1 of 15 from 3, 30% from floor.  Must have been ugly to watch.

Couldn't handle Hartford's zone press. THIRTY-EIGHT turnovers. Also 1-15 three-point shooting. 38-4 midway thru the second quarter.

Didn't help that Stokes was out. For some reason there was no sound when I watched the Stony Brook game, but Khepra missed today's game because of a fight at SBU. I could see the SBU player drive into about four defenders at the foul line, there was some shoving and finger-pointing, but couldn't' see details.

Tough day for the ladies. I heard a bit of radio last week where Onorato was talking about observing a practice where coach Mullen was making them run sprints because they kept missing foul shots in practice. Apparently she's pretty tough on them to get their best effort.

On another note, getting "tripped up" is a hilarious headline for the game story...LOL.

And sorry to hear that the Forster redhead brigade has run dry. Three good players that gave their all on the field and court. Can you imagine the driveway games at their house?

Coach Abe has her team playing well BUT not vs UConn, lost yesterday by 36.  The gap at the top is just not fair to most women's teams.  There is like 4 teams and then everyone else year after year.

Women blew a 36-15 halftime lead, fell behind with three minutes left, rallied for a 56-53 win over Lowell.

Maine beat Hartford by 20. Hawks have some serious injury problems at the moment.

1. Maine 11-1

 2. Hartford 9-2

 3. Albany 8-3

 4. Stony Brook 7-4

Maine on Saturday on Alumnae Day/ Pink Game at 2:00. Only lost by 11 up there early in the season, though a late rally made it look closer than it really was. Upset could really make this race interesting.

25-point win at New Hampshire today clinches first-round playoff game. Fourth place has the tiebreaker over Bing if needed, third place is a longshot.

Team shot 67%, mostly because they got 58 points in the paint. 58 in the paint and they only shot six free throws. UNH shot 26
