Nice run...this team might not be that bad. I think the recent update on Pomeroy rankings are pretty accurate - I think this is a .500 team. Athleticism is really good.

Do the stairs have lighting in each of the rows? Or is that just reflective tape or something?

Not 100% sure about that. We are 12th out of 15 teams in penalties committed...BUT...are 3 out of 15 in getting opponents to commit penalties.

Are you confusing Delaware with JMU? Anyone who aspires to be UD aspires to be mediocre. I mean, I guess that's an improvement compared to UA, but since 2010 (last time UD went to the championship) they have made the playoffs 4 times (and that happened in the last 6 years). From 2010-2017 they were .500 more or less every year - definition of mediocrity.

I can see other CAA teams aspiring to be JMU but UD? That's a lateral move.

They are crying about losing to a 'bad D1 team' (maybe so) but omitting the fact that they are clearly a 'badder D1 team'. They STILL think they are better than UA. Clowns. Will never cheer for those scrubs or their school - EVER!

Two 9-3 teams, both 7-1 in the CAA, face off. Should be a good game.

"Correlation does not imply causation." Maybe they started eating better. Maybe they started sleeping better. Maybe they got a new personal trainer. It could be literally anything lol. He clearly didn't tip the scales much at UA as a coach while he was great on the floor.

CCSU on 11/30/19 had 1,660 fans according to the box score so you're correct - even with the whole CAA champion thing, I wouldn't expect more than 3k. You'll be able to sit anywhere you want.

I must amend my comment. I was thinking NDSU which I see went ONLY 8-3 😂. I mixed my Dakotas up. But at the same time, teams who perenially win their conferences like JMU did here should be forced to move IMO...I'm glad they are gone and enjoying success at the next level.

First off, congrats to Greg Gattuso for bringing a CAA championship to UAlbany. It's been a BRUTAL road more often than not, but credit when and where it is due. Hopefully this is the start of him building a perennial winner here.

It's unfortunate we didn't get the auto-bid or outright championship.

That being said - maybe I'm old school (even though I'm in my mid-30's) but the F bombs, middle fingers, smoking talk post game from the student athletes is... 😒 .

Yeah that's true. I tend to watch the games (almost all sports even NFL and F1) way after they are done so it allows him to use while I'm not. But it's definitely helpful to split the costs. And then cancel at the end of the season.

Updated stat rankings for the last game. Noticeable takeaways:

1. We are BY FAR the best run defense. We are clear of the next best team by almost 30 yards/game. IMPRESSIVE.
2. We are 1 of 3 team who are perfect from PAT. Monmouth is the worst and has missed 5 PATs.
3. Similarly, Monmouth only makes 44% (on 9 attempts) of their FGs which suggests they don't go for them often. 4 down territory all game long.
4. Monmouth has given up the 13th most sacks at 26...we've given up 14th most at 30. Defensive lines EAT against us. BUT, we also eat against them (league leading 35 for the year) where Monmouth only has 20. Advantage UAlbany.
5. Albany completes 33.3% on 4th down. Monmouth completes at 56.4% (see #3 above). Luckily we hold opponents to 43.3% conversion...so hopefully that leans our way vs the other direction.
