Has anyone heard from Dane Pound?

I messaged him earlier today but so far no response. Still last login in May 26. I thought you had contact with him outside of this forum? If so, may want to alert him that folks miss him :).

I want to bring to people's attention that there are three groups entitled to 50% off the season ticket price with full payment of the required donation.  Those groups are:

    • Facility and staff
    • Graduates of the last decade
    • Seniors (65+)

My calculations estimated these groups per ticket coast starts around $10.15 per game, not too shabby.

That's good to know but makes me wonder why this is the first time I'm hearing of it? Ticketing office has never mentioned this. Do you have a link? Any idea if that is also applicable to single-game tickets? I graduated in '16 so I got 3 more years of this perk (at least for season tickets - which I do not currently have).

If I can get 50% off, I might just buy season tickets and give them to a friend.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Former Super Bowl champion and New York Giants running back Dion Lewis was arrested Monday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.

Arrest documents show Lewis was taken into custody by Seminole Indian Police around 2 p.m. and booked into the Orient Road Jail of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office an hour later.

Lewis was charged with trespassing in an occupied structure. His bond was set at $500.

I was told that place has delicious food (and I smelled it often driving past as I lived 5 minutes from there). Why would anyone be upset with a place that has delicious food is beyond me. (/s - I'm obviously being facetious)

Hawaii is paying $150K PLUS travel expenses

Right, I'm just curious if it costs $200k (difference between Marshall and HI) to send a team to HI from NY. I'm sure it's not cheap to send 70-80 people to HI, but just curious. Either way, I'm sure many of these players who prior to going to play college ball may have not left their states/towns are really enjoying the all expenses paid trip - awesome for them! (part of the reason why I love to travel for work when asked to do so - nothing better than having your trip paid for hah)

The Great Danes will take on a Football Bowl Subdivision school for the second straight week. After getting a $350,000 guarantee from Marshall, UAlbany will receive $150,000 from Hawaii, which in addition is paying all the Great Danes’ travel expenses.

Anyone in the know on how much it costs to send a D1 football team from NY to HI? Is there $150-200k of expenses there? Hoping UA is getting their monies worth on this trip!

Secondary coverage????????   GET OUT OF THE ZONE.  Giving up 5-10 yeard very play on the corners - and they have taken adavntage of it all day..... That is hurting the defense, bottom line.

You mean secondary playing off the line and giving guys space on their routes? Many of us have complained about that for years...especially @Clickclack.

This has been an insanely good performance. Anyone, anyone, I do mean anyone who can’t see that, after 1.5 games, this team is vastly improve just is out for Gattuso.

Marshall actually got better (transfers) on defense than last year, and last year’s team was lights out…one of the best in FBS.  So I’m not worrying about the offense.

Defensively, we are playing unreal football after a slow start.

special teams, aside from the missed FG, is much better.

Remember, Marshall was pre-season #6 in the Sun Belt, and they are fourth in the stacked East Division (JMU, App St, Coastal, then Marshall).

I am very happy and now, as much as I want a win…I’m just hoping for no injuries.  I expect Marshall to come out swinging, so we need to move the ball on our opening drive.

Been watching on an IPAD. Did Winston. come back?  His injury did not look good at all.  That would be a major blow.

I'll give Gattuso his due when he earns it and right now it seems to be he's earning it. I don't like the man personally, but I won't let that cloud my view of the product on the field. If he can keep this up for the season especially in the CAA, we are going to have a great season.

I just want a winning program...don't care if it ends up being a guy who was a perennial loser for the first decade he was here. Winning fixes everything.

I'm sure it's all across college sports but the PSD's make no sense to me for schools that have a limited/shrinking fan base.  In the real world you generally raise prices as supply and demand dictates (Covid inflation aside).   While they've reduced supply (marginally) I'm not sure the demand is there for them to be able to raise prices.  I'd love for them to try to lower prices now, improve the product on the floor, increase the fan base and then raise prices as demand increases.  Silly me.

Benson and his cronies have proven time and time again they do not understand basic economics. Rodriguez needs to enroll them all in ECON101 for the 2nd summer session ASAP.

Benson and Co. have taken Drake's "Started from the bottom" song and turned it into "Started from the top"...it just gets worse and worse. First it was parking...then it was increased parking...and now it's the right to even be in the arena as a season ticket holder. They should be kissing our feet and thanking us for being loyal instead of requiring us to contribute to GDAC just to get a seat.

    Ridiculous.
