It's effectively collegiate free agency. I wish there were some guard rails around it though because right now it's basically a free for all.

Have to imagine that its on purpose. Either as @cwdickens mentions above that another shoe will drop soon, or maybe its because our fanbase is so disillusioned right now that any post they make gets slammed with negativity about firing DK or firing Benson and Cegles. Not posting removes some of the visible on-line negativity when prospective recruits are doing their own research in trying to figure out what school to attend or transfer to. 

My bet is the second option. If I was a potential recruit and all I saw was fan negativity about the players, coach, administration, and program then I would take a pause before considering going to that school. 

While we as fans have SO MUCH to be negative about for GOOD REASON, maybe its time to try and exude some positive thoughts and posts. Try to help sell the school and program as a place that players would be accepted and followed? We need to still be negative and point out the things that need to change, and change quickly, but we also need to make this a place those players want to come to. That is on us as fans and supporters as much as it is the program. Maybe we can't make 6-7 figure donations to the program, but we can help make the place look like its good for the talent. Maybe I am wrong, but could it hurt?

I just wrote Havidan an email but as been the case before I doubt he'll even acknowledge it. How much longer are we going to watch this program be ruined from within by leadership?

LOL. The audacity of the AD to ask for money considering like 80% of our programs are completely in the garbage right now. They should be writing us telling us that they are lowering ticket prices, not asking for money money.

Eh, screw em. Right now, they should be bending over backwards for the diehards of the fan base who continue(d) to throw good money after bad. Many of us stopped doing that though because we smartened up. They shouldn't be trying to 'blackmail' fans into posting only 'positivity' in order to get parking passes as gestures of thank yous for decades of support, for example. They should give those fans parking passes (which are overpriced to begin with) without blinking an eye and thanking them twice for good measure for even bothering to show up.

The fish rots from the head and nowhere is that more evident than the UAlbany athletics department. The day they all get fired is the day this program can begin to recover.

Sucks to lose but still a great season. I don't even remember what it's like to be in the AE title game or even good for the Men's team. Congrats to the ladies on a good season!
