Now, I have seen the saddest ramblings ever posted on this forum.
That rich considering all of the drivel you post 😂.

Based on social media posts, I now know the MBB and the WBB locker rooms are finished.
Both teams completed a walk-thru today.
Yep, they look nice. Better than the dump they've had for the last 30 years.

Yeah, that arena is beautiful. Too bad the team is not.

I don't remember who normally starts these, but with the season opening in a few days, felt it was time to start one.
Marcus Jackson may be missing due to a wrist injury, and Neely isn't ready yet. It doesn't sound serious for Jackson which is good, and I think we expected that with Neely.
I usually do em but man, the season snuck up 😂. Wasn't even on my radar.

SBU is hot garbage. Other than week 4 against Richmond (which they lost 20-19) they have an average defeat margin of nearly 4 scores (27.625pts). Opposing offenses are average 39.33 ppg against them while their office is averaging a measly 14.66.
Yikes. Not long ago that was us though...

That looks exquisite!

Updated my conference ranking statistics through this past weekend. We're improved but I was expecting a lot less sub 8 rankings...which suggests this team is not as good as 2019.

This is all so dumb. This GDAC stuff is beyond stupid.
Just sell the damn seats for $200 (or whatever) instead of $50 + $150 GDAC (or whatever). Your ranking should be simply based on total spend per season ticket. Done. No confusion. Parking goes to top 200 or whatever.

The P&G game used to be a big event now it seems like an afterthought...and it's been that way long before the renovation.

No need to send out a search party for me. I'm still around.
Yank, I did respond to your messages. Not sure why you didn't see them but I will check again. Hopefully you don't give us a lousy Yelp review.
You're right about not seeing me at UA events. I haven't been going as much lately and probably won't in the near future. It's not a statement about the administration or anything. Recent life events have made me reshuffle priorities. Sports are great, but they are the dessert in life, not the main course. I've had to skip dessert recently and likely will for a while.
Eli, you are more than welcome to build another forum with a similar mission. I'll keep this one up until you do and then pull the plug when you're done.
Glad to see ya around! No need to build a new forum, this one is just fine...but just offering to be QB2 😜.
Be well sir!

Roger is bad but these guys were atrocious. If I was a Townson fan I'd be ashamed of that commentating crew.
That being said, 4-0 against FCS...nice!

It looks like they are putting down padding and plywood as it rolls to it's location(s)...so they are taking precautions not to damage the floor.

Looks great!

I am not sure what you mean by "he deserves some credit" then you say in effect that he deserves all the blame when things go wrong.
Ultimately, that is his job description. He's the head coach. Whether it's players not executing, coaches not coaching, him not recruiting...at the end of the day he is the responsible party and the buck stops with him.
Again, credit where it's due so far this year but he needs to do this multiple years in a row for the bad taste he's left in the previous 9 years (this is year 10) to wash away.

.... and this all started by Mark Benson keeping his word and extending Greg Gattuso contract, which in turn has led to a group of student-athletes committing to the UAlbany. I give credit to Benson for his patience with Gattuso.
Not sure I agree. Gattuso just happened to hit on some of the kids he's recruited. Lets be honest - he deserves some credit for THIS team but we have nearly a decade of evidence of him being absolutely putrid otherwise. One good year will not erase the disaster that has been Greg Gattuso. 3-4 years of winning consistently? Then we can talk about 'corners turned'. End of the day, he still has a 41.6% winning percentage. That's not good.
EDIT: If GG does good this year, watch Benson extend him again lol.
