I'm just trying to keep my feels in check...that way if we do win, I'll have the same reaction/feels that I did after saturday

 

As a program now, I'm past the point of just hoping for "respect" and playing well. I want a win. It would certainly be a very big upset, but we have proven we can play well in big games, and play good teams very tough. By no means am I "expecting" a win, but certainly will not be happy with just playing them tough as in the past. We're a legit mid-major, and we will eventually strike gold in the tournament.

I get what you're saying, but we aren't there yet. I'd love a win just like the next guy, but OU has borderline NBA talent (Buddy Hield) and had Blake Griffin a few years ago. While Jamar is certainly killing it a world away in Australia/Europe, we don't have that kind of talent yet. We just can't compete for 40 minutes with teams like that..which is why we always play those types of teams tough for 30 minutes or so before it becomes out of reach. Could it happen? Sure. Will it? Unlikely. BUT, upsets do happen so...just like the last few seconds saturday..."You never know"

I'm just being realistic with my expectations.

In my ESPN bracket, I have us getting to the sweet 16 heh. In the BPF bracket we will do, since I want that little 'title' under my username, I'll likely be less optimistic.

Facing a high seed is never easy...like all years, I'll be ecstatic if we can keep it under 10 and give the world a great showing by UA and the AE.

Man, really considering driving...since it's a friday night game and I wouldn't need two days off...

Dayton, Columbus, and Cleveland are all around $590-630 from Albany via Southwest. First place I checked (I only fly Southwest domestically).

Yes...man I've had a tough time today. I'm looking at the ESPN bracket quickly and it had Charlotte right under us...for some reason I thought that was the game location lol. Still, gonna be expensive.

The tournament as one of the greatest sporting events but having the announcement this close always makes flights $$$$. Especially from a small airport to a small airport.

Yeah, cheapest flight I see is $500 not counting rental car and hotel. Sorry, gotta pass this up.

For the love of *insert here*, I'm happy SUNY WASN'T in the name. They need to get rid of that nonsense ASAP.

It's your internet connection. It determines what you can handle at that second and changes it automatically. There is a lot that happens behind the scenes even though your internet connection might seem fine to you.

It was amazing. I went nuts. I've never cried at a sports event, but I teared up...just because of what kind of game it was, how tough it was all game, the player who made the shot, things leading up...just crazy situation.

Anyone else notice that on the time lapse video of the court rush, the fans made such a commotion that the banners from last year were moving? Awesome! lol
