Wow. King havin a ball game all of a sudden. TD and now a GREAT jump ball catch.
Tied Chillis for 5th all time with 107 receptions.
-
The announcers did have a good point, the receivers did drop 3 or 4 balls that they should have had.
This is true. But they also mentioned his lack of vision/completing reads. He had guys open multiple times and checked down or didn't even look at that side of the field.
-
King finally catches a ball, and it happens to be a TD. Finally. 10-0 Albany after the PAT.
-
Kyle Jordan out of the game (got hurt somewhere in the beginning of the second quarter). Left on crutches. Something to keep an eye on.

Okay, I take that back. Our offense flat out SUCKS. Osbourne is the only good thing about it and sometimes Parker when Fiacchi actually finds him. O-Line multiple penalties. A couple delay of games. Receivers can't catch (King). Fiacchi's vision is horrendous...he doesn't complete his reads most of the time.
Gattuso has to address the offense in the next recruiting class or two. We need work.

Defense looks good so far. Offense is shaky again.

Agreed. Doesn't look like a head to head hit or anything...might just have knocked him out cold or something and that's why they took him off?
Anyway...I can't stop watching that video. After the agony of last year...even under these circumstances...it was SO EPIC. The place went BANANAS.

Anyone have video of the big play?

We are going to win games in the 4th quarter on toughness and guts.
And luck. Crazy, motherflippin luck.
Funny you say that. They played a video or audio clip on the speakers before the game of Gattuso talking about guts and winning the 4th quarter and that's exactly what happened tonight.
I though today the defensive line and linebackers were EXCEPTIONAL. The secondary needs some help but aren't they young? There were some good plays back there and some standing around not sure what to do on some long throws, couple of times they got beat deep.
Offense needs a ton of work...QB play for 90% of the game was very poor. High throws, throws into the ground, repeated attempts to force the ball into double and a time or two triple coverage. Offensive line protection was mostly good.
Definitely stuff to work on...next week is going to be tough.
Pretty much what he said.
Our offense got better as the game went on (adjustments after half time?)...and the defense also did very well although they let up some big 3rd and long plays. Then again, that QB was very good as previously stated. Other than Fiacci, I liked what happened tonight.
What a crazy game. I have NO VOICE.

There have been a couple emails mailed to all students. I believe I may have seen a poster or two around the lecture center.

School is in full swing. Just finished my first week of classes. Some kids may go home for the long weekend, but I wouldn't say the majority of the student body. It's only one day. Plus, it's still nice here in Albany so many may stick around here for the day off.

With all this real promotion, it's kinda sad that the ticket website still isn't working.
When the folks on this board who live local buy their tix..do you do it on the site, or call the box office? As someone who's worked on internet marketing a bit, this is terrible for business and I'm curious how reliant on the site you fine folks are.
I have an email relationship with Brian Rudolph...so it depends on how he's feeling. Sometimes he charges my card over the phone/email...other times I sign in to the site and buy them there. I think he's trying to streer me/us all to the website now.
They should hire me as a contractor so I can fix their web server...Brian, if you're reading this, you have my number

Less than a week. Folks,

Yeah, I meant Pats > Jets when it comes to winning the division. But head-2-head since Rex got to NY...it's pretty even. They beat us, we beat them. They smoke us, we get them back (thanks, Bart "Can't Wait" Scott).
Anyway, we should have an NFL thread...don't wanna muddy this thread lol.

Was the scouts name Bill Bellicheck? I kid, I kid. #jetsfanwhocantwaitforBradyandBellichecktoretiresotheJetscanfinallywinsomethingandalsothisisthelongesthashtageveramidoneyetnookaynowimdone

That blue and silver looks mmm mmm gooood.
My favorite color is blue so I would have *LOVED* it if my favorite team had blue. Unfortunately, the only team I root for which has blue in it is the NY Rangers. New York Jets, Miami Heat, and Great Danes have no blue
.

*sigh*
I'm a Heat fan and it's not looking good.
Oh well, thank you for two titles Lebron. Good luck on your next team. I don't see him staying in Miami after the lack of support he got in these Finals, it's Cleveland all over again.

It's definitely nice. Great place to just sit on a bench at night and enjoy the summer night while watching the fountain.

In a bit of a blast from the past..Scott Bruxvoort was arrested a few weeks ago for allegedly shoving a Wal-Mart employee while trying to leave the store with stolen alcohol. He's been suspended from his Quincy College team indefinitely.
As a refresher..Bruxvoort was a UAlbany signee who left campus at the beginning of the 12-13 school year and never joined the team. Looks like we dodged a bullet there.
Sounds like the incident that happened at Bingo where the kid was running away with condoms from Walmart and knocked over an old lady...when the school likely has condoms for free, lol.

Congrats. I'm in the same boat...chipping away via night school. 10 more classes to go...so roughly 5 more semesters.

King another TD! Woot! Albany up 17-0 at the half after the upcoming PAT. We matched our scoring total from last years game, in one half.
