Sorry, maybe you're right. I just was feelin that 6 wins (with an admittedly weakish OCC) while being part of the CAA would get us at least 8-9 in the NEC. Also, given the fact that we've played a few CAA teams very close and barely lost (Villanova and UNH aside). We played JMU, UD and could have 4 conference wins if not for those games.

If the offense plays like it did against Delaware and Villanova I think we win going away. SBU struggled with Rhody for 3 QTRS before pulling away. No one is going to confuse SBU's offense with Villanova. All we have to do is tackle better on D and throw to our stud receivers on Offense and I think we will win.

Seems like status quo then. I remember after the Richmond game I made a table showing the size difference and we were 3" and 45LB or so smaller...we'll get there eventually with more CAA level kids. Half our team is still NEC. We'd be DOMINATING the NEC right now me thinks.

The refs were bad. I remember one play where the ref (although he got the right call) who is in the freakin SECONDARY made a call from there for a penalty that happened in the offensive backfield. WHAT? Why are you even looking there?

Finally, the powers that be have come to their senses.

Okay, I've finally got some time to think about this game for a bit (drove 5hrs to Buffalo after leaving so did a lot of thinking lol).

1) WHO WAS CALLING THE OFFENSIVE PLAYS!? Osbourne was barely used this game. They had 7 rushing yards halfway through the third quarter. Did we forget we have an ALL-CONFERENCE back? It was ridiculous.

2) Will made me shut up today. I thought, for the most part, he played a great game. Kudos, kid.

3) Our defense still can't tackle. Way too many arm tackles. How many times are we going to see guys get 5-6 YAC on each play?

4) The officiating. No words. That is all. I've never seen so many missed calls or bogus calls in my life. I'm usually not one to complain about referee's but this was just HORSE ****.

It was a great game ruined by a few select individuals as stated above.

But might bode bad for the present...inexperience.

For the longest time, I just wanted the game and didn't care how it was played. UA needs to grow a bigger set and demand that at the minimum it is considered a road game for both teams in the next contract - thus counts in neither season ticket package - or it needs to be a contract with an even number of years and it is a home game for each team every other year - giving UA season ticket holders the best seats in UA years. Keep it at TU for the fans.

I've got the game on mute, playing my XBox lol. I'm watching, but I've decided it's not worth getting too upset about. Even with this loss, we still have a legitimate shot at winning 8 games. That's IMPRESSIVE given what transpired last year. Poor Bob Ford, wish we could have sent him off with a better season.

I disagree with the FG. You're on the 5 yard line. 3 points, down 22, isn't that big a deal. You need TD's. Regardless of whatever small confidence boost they get...UNH will just take that boost away lol.
